Mastering Emotions: restoring motherhood

Welcome to this week’s Prophetic Celebration Briefing. Our scripture focus for today includes: Genesis 2:21–25; 3:16, 3:20; Exodus 34; 2 Samuel 12:10; Luke 1:26–38; 2:1–52; Genesis 25:19–28; 2 Kings 11–12; 2 Chronicles 22–23; Mark 6:17–29; 2 Samuel 6:16–23; and 2 Timothy 1:5

Beloved, mastering emotions is not about suppressing our feelings but surrendering them to the One who created us. In the restoration of motherhood, we see God's redemptive hand through every generation from Eve, the mother of all living, to Mary, the mother who bore Christ in obedience and faith. Through joy and sorrow, women like Rebekah, Jehosheba, and Lois shaped destinies by faith, wisdom, and emotional strength. As we anchor ourselves in God's Word (Genesis 2:21–25; Luke 1:26–38), we are reminded: restoring motherhood begins with mastering the heart, renewing the mind, and trusting God’s design. A restored mother births more than children, she births legacy.

God bless you!

Here are key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

  1. Sometimes, what feels like punishment is actually grace in disguise
  2. Those you sin with will one day sin against you.
  3. A mother will die for her child, but rarely will a child die for their mother.
  4. Family is the first and most enduring school of influence; patterns born in one generation often echo through the next.
  5. The fingerprints of our DNA touch the fourth generation and beyond.
  6. Raise your children with foresight, for you will not walk beside them forever.
  7. A mother’s prayer travels where her feet cannot.
  8. If you want your children to be blessed, honour their father even when it's hard.
  9. A well-ordered life doesn’t need to shout its success, it speaks quietly through peace.
  10. Life is not about constant happiness, but about sacrifice and offering others chances you never had.
  11. Never let uncontrolled emotions sabotage your children’s futures.
  12. You can’t fix internal disorder with external decoration, makeup can’t mend what’s broken within.
  13. What is acknowledged by you can be magnified by your enemy; guard what you register in your spirit.
  14. Men know who to play with and who they can entrust with their children.
  15. The decisions of yesterday shape the battles of today.
  16. Children owe their mothers the gift of truth; it is the beginning of legacy and healing.
  17. As you grow, your circle must evolve; elevation requires separation.
  18. You are often ruled more by what wounded you than by what built you; until you heal.
  19. Healing begins when we stop rehearsing the past and start releasing it.
  20. Hurt people, hurt people, until someone chooses to break the cycle.
  21. Examine your life: is your best behind you, or still ahead?

Jesus teaches in Mark 12:29 -30 that the greatest commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. That includes our feelings our inner emotional life. But feelings can be deceiving. Proverbs 14:12 warns, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” If we follow our emotions without godly discernment, we risk being led away from God’s will.

Proverbs 25:28 says, “A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.” Unchecked emotions can leave us vulnerable, just as a city without walls is open to attack. That’s why 1 Peter 5:8 tells us to be sober-minded and watchful because our adversary, the devil, prowls like a lion, looking to devour. He often attacks through our thoughts and feelings.

But we’re not left helpless. Romans 8:6–8 reminds us that “the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace,” while the mind governed by the flesh is death. As believers, we must submit our feelings to the Holy Spirit, choosing daily to love God above our emotions.

Let your heart feel, but let the Spirit lead.

Here are key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

·       You cannot give what you do not possess, nor offer what is unworthy of offering.

·       God longs not only for your thoughts but also for the fire in your heart to love Him passionately.

·       God is deeply emotional in the purest and most powerful way.

·       Your ability to feel is a divine gift; imagine a world stripped of emotion lifeless and hollow.

·       Passion makes effort feel effortless.

·       When you commit to God, He often asks for what you love most because He will not take second place.

·       To reach places you’ve never been, you must stretch beyond where you are.

·       Life cannot be lived on feelings alone don’t drown in emotional tides.

·       Emotions are a gift, not a guide don’t let them drive your every decision.

·       Once people know your feelings, they can predict your actions.

·       You cannot sway God with tears. He sees the heart behind the emotion.

·       The more emotionally driven you are, the easier it is to be deceived feelings often lie.

·       Not every change of heart can undo what’s been spoken some words echo beyond apologies.

·       Don’t let the pettiness of others drag you into battles too big for your calling.

·       The brighter the light, the clearer the truth and sometimes, truth exposes what we fear to face.

The Mystery of the Believer's Union with Christ

Happy New Month Beloved,

Welcome to this week’s Prophetic Celebration Briefing. Let’s reflect together on the profound truths found in John 1:10, John 14:20, Romans 8:1, Roman 6:14, Galatians 2:20, Philippians 1:21, Romans 12:1, John 6:53, Roman 6:1, 2 Peter 1:4

Dear Beloved,

The greatest truth ever revealed is not just that Christ died for us, but that He now lives in us. “I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you” (John 14:20). This is the profound mystery of the believer’s union with Christ; God has not only saved us from sin, but united Himself with us.

This truth is not symbolic; it is supernatural. We have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer we who live, but Christ who lives in us (Galatians 2:20). His life is our life. His victory is our freedom. Sin no longer has dominion over us (Romans 6:14), because the One who conquered sin now dwells within.

But how easily we forget. Shall we continue in sin so that grace may abound? By no means! (Romans 6:1). To be joined to Christ is to be joined to truth and truth never leaves us as it found us. It transforms us. It calls us to die daily to self and offer our whole being as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1).

This is not religion. This is resurrection. This is mystery made manifest in us: Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Live in this truth. Abide in this union. And let the world see Him in you.

In Christ,

God bless you!

Here are key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

·       Even in the face of truth, many still bow to lies.

·       Truth does not invite competition, it stands alone.

·       No one born of God remains a stranger to their source.

·       Strength of will may take you far, but in our journey, it is not willpower but God's will that prevails.

·       The believer is in Christ, and Christ is in the believer which is an eternal union, not a distant bond.

·       Those who saw only a carpenter missed the Christ and with Him, the miracles.

·       Doubt is often the silent thief of divine power in a person's life.

·       God despises doubt, for it questions His nature.

·       When doubt is enthroned, even heaven’s help is resisted.

·       Law births sin; where law rules, sin awakens.

·       Creation makes you human; sanctification makes you His child.

·       Sin is conceived long before it is seen.

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 24-04-2025

Welcome to this week’s Prophetic Celebration Briefing from our special ‘Resurrection Sunday’. Together, let’s reflect together on the profound truths found in Isaiah 2, Acts 1:3, John 6:60, Romans 5:15–19, Acts 2:24, 1 Corinthians 15:20, and John 15:1–6.

Beloved, in a world that often feels clouded by sorrow, questions, and the weight of human weakness, there comes a moment that splits history wide open, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus walked among us, full of grace and truth, and though many found His words hard to accept (John 6:60), He never stopped loving. With nail-pierced hands, He showed us the way back to the Father. After suffering the cross, He rose in victory, not quietly, but powerfully, appearing to His disciples with many convincing proofs over forty days (Acts 1:3). Death could not hold Him (Acts 2:24). The grave could not silence Him. In His rising, we find our own. For just as sin entered the world through one man, grace overflows even more through the obedience of Christ (Romans 5:15–19). He became the first fruits; the promise that life, not death, gets the final word (1 Corinthians 15:20).

Now, like branches clinging to the true Vine (John 15:1–6), we are called not just to believe in His resurrection, but to live in it, daily, fully, fearlessly. He is not a distant Saviour. He is the living God who calls us friend, who draws near in the breaking of bread, in quiet prayers, and in our most fragile moments. The mountain of the Lord is rising (Isaiah 2), and He invites all nations, all people, to come and walk in His light. This is not just theology. This is the heartbeat of a love story written in blood and sealed with an empty tomb.

May we never get over the wonder of it. Christ is risen and in Him, so are we.

God bless you!

Here are key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

·       Lies may make noise, but they never last. If Christ had not risen, the apostles would never have died for a lie.

·       Noise may announce your presence, but never sacrifice your peace for attention.

·       Jesus died in our place and rose again to show us this eternal truth: those who believe in Him will rise too.

·       In the light of the Resurrection, love God with everything and love your neighbour because death, our greatest fear, has already been defeated.

·       To love God is to truly love yourself for when you discover what is best for you, you’ll find it in Him.

·       True love never wounds it heals, restores, and lifts.

·       Selfishness is the silent assassin of your wellbeing.

·       Your true worth is revealed by what someone is willing to pay for you and Christ paid with His life.

·       Before you uncover yourself to others, let God reveal your worth to you.

·       You may be overlooked today, but you are growing. Tomorrow, your value will speak for itself.

·       You were created to transform your environment, not to be shaped by it.

·       Real power is found not in control, but in humble submission.

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 17-04-2025

Welcome to this week’s Prophetic Celebration Briefing. As we gather in faith and expectation, let us open our hearts to the profound truths of Scripture. This week, we journey through a tapestry of verses that illuminate the person and power of the Holy Spirit—His role in creation, His presence in Christ’s earthly life, and His active work in us today.

Our reflection draws from key passages including: Luke 4:14, Hebrews 2:14–17, Luke 1:26–35, Matthew 1:20, Genesis 1:2, John 3:34, Luke 2:39–52, Matthew 3:13–17, Matthew 4:1–13, Luke 11:13, Acts 10:38, Hebrews 9:14, 1 Peter 3:18–19, Romans 1:4, Romans 8:11, and 1 Timothy 3:16.

Beloved, Jesus—though fully God—lived His earthly life in complete dependence on the Holy Spirit. He submitted Himself entirely to the Spirit’s leading, walking in obedience, humility, and power. In doing so, He gave us a pattern to follow.

When the Holy Spirit overshadows a life, it is not merely an emotional moment—it is a divine covering. It is the nearness of heaven that brings clarity in confusion, courage in weakness, and peace in storms. This is not reserved for the few; it is available to all who yield.

To walk in true excellence is to live not just with skill or ambition, but with divine purpose. That begins when we allow our lives to be formed by the Word and breathed into by the Spirit. Without the Spirit, there is activity but no anointing—noise, but no impact.

Yet, not all will understand the journey you're on. Some will question your silence, your separation, your surrender. But don’t be discouraged. Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. Your process is not for everyone to approve—it is for heaven to endorse.

Let us take Jesus as our model—Spirit-conceived, Spirit-led, and Spirit-empowered. This is the way of true sonship. This is the life to which we are called.

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 3-04-2025

Dear Beloved,

As we step into this new month, let us fix our hearts on a powerful truth: Meditation is the gateway to divine understanding.

Today’s prophetic focus is on Genesis 1, 1 Corinthians 6:17, and Matthew 6:33, revealing the power of aligning our minds with God’s Word.

Just as God spoke creation into existence, our thoughts shape our reality. To be one with Him, we must dwell on His truth - this is the essence of meditation.

When we seek Him first, revelation flows. Meditation unlocks supernatural insight, transforms our spirit, and empowers us to walk in divine wisdom.

Commit to meditation, and step into God’s higher wisdom this month!

We would like to take this moment to sincerely thank and congratulate everyone who contributed to the Testimony Hub Revival Arena Launch Event on Sunday. Your dedication and support made it a truly remarkable occasion!

Here are key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

·        Meditation is the key that unlocks the chambers of divine wisdom.

·        Like teeth crush food for strength, meditation crushes evil and opens the gates of the Spirit.

·        In the stillness of meditation, the dawn of true life breaks forth.

·        The fearful roar the loudest bullies are often lions with trembling hearts.

·        When you know the size of your God, no giant can make you tremble.

·        A life that can be explained by men is a life untouched by the supernatural.

·        The seed of destiny is conceived in the secret, but its signs appear in due time.

·        Every earthly limitation is but a program—heaven rewrites the code for those who believe.

·        Prayer is the divine login—our access point to the throne room of God.

Cultivating Spiritual Growth

Dear Beloved,

Welcome to our Prophetic Celebration Briefing and Reflection. This week, let’s reflect deeply on the powerful truths of Scripture, drawing wisdom from Ezekiel 11:19-20, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, Ephesians 2:6, John 17:15-19, Galatians 4:1, Isaiah 55:2, Luke 1:80, 1 Corinthians 10:4, Luke 2:52, and 1 Thessalonians 5:23.

Beloved, through God’s supernatural power, we are transformed and made new in Christ. Ezekiel 11:19-20 speaks of God’s promise to give us a new heart and spirit, renewing us from within. In 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, we are reminded that in Christ, we are a new creation, reconciled to God. Ephesians 2:6 elevates us spiritually, seated with Christ in heavenly realms. John 17:15-19 calls us to be set apart, living in the world but not of it, as we are sanctified in truth. Finally, 1 Thessalonians 5:23 speaks of God’s sanctifying work in our whole being—spirit, soul, and body. We are empowered to live by His supernatural grace, reflecting His holiness and love in everything we do.

God bless you!

Here are key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

  1. Do not be confined by the limitations of the natural; for the supernatural realm, where miracles abound, awaits those who walk in faith.
  2. Death is but the end of the natural journey, and the beginning of an eternal experience beyond this life.
  3. The door to the supernatural opens only by the key of faith.
  4. To neglect prayer is to make oneself vulnerable to the enemy's schemes.
  5. Faith is not merely belief, but the action that aligns with God’s word and commands.
  6. Until you discern what you do not desire, you will not understand the depths of what you truly seek.

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 20-03-2025

Cultivating Spiritual Growth

Dear Beloved,

Welcome to our Prophetic Celebration Briefing & Reflection. This week, let’s reflect on the powerful message in John 3:25-36.

Beloved, In John 3:25-36, we are reminded of the profound truth that Jesus is the source of eternal life, and that He has come to fulfill God's will. John the Baptist humbly declares that he must decrease while Christ must increase. In a world that often seeks self-glorification, let us remember that true greatness comes from pointing others to Jesus.

Message:
In a world that seeks to elevate itself, true greatness is found in humbling ourselves before Jesus. As John the Baptist declared, "He must increase, but I must decrease" (John 3:30). Let’s live with hearts that reflect the love of Christ, embracing His eternal life and sharing it with others. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. May we live in His light and draw closer to Him each day.

God bless you!

Here are key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

1.      Spiritual growth is a journey that requires constant cultivation and patience.

2.      God has always been, and He will always be. We, however, come and go, but our existence is eternal in Him.

3.      Jesus spoke of being born again — a transformation that begins with justification through faith. Once you declare Jesus as Lord and Saviour, you are instantly justified.

4.      Sanctification is a process, shaped by the Word of God and the Spirit of God.

5.      Just as lack of food stunts physical growth, neglecting your spiritual nourishment hinders your growth in faith.

6.      The final stage of our journey is glorification, which will be revealed in the future.

7.      John the Baptist’s life teaches us that to live rightly, we must believe rightly. You cannot worship a God you don’t truly know.

8.      To truly know who you are, consult the One who created you and gave you life.

9.      In our decrease, God’s greatness increases within us. Humility brings us closer to Him.

10.   It’s not what you do that brings blessings, but what you bless that invites them into your life.

11.   At times, grace may seem delayed, but don’t mistake the wrong path for the fastest one. Trust God’s timing.

12.   Don’t confuse your physical address with your true destiny. What matters most is the direction you’re heading in.

13.   The people who annoy you are often the ones who help you grow. Don’t deny God the opportunity to shape you through them.

14.   When you rely on human methods, you get human results. But when you rely on God, you gain divine strength.

15.   Doing wrong does not defeat wrong; it’s only by doing right that we overcome.

16.   What comes to you easily is often not appreciated. Learn to value what you have.

17.   Anyone can have what you have, but not everyone can endure what you’ve been through.

18.   Be defined by who holds you, not by what you own.

19.   You cannot benefit from the word you despise. Open your heart to truth.

20.   People sin by omission, neglecting the call to do right.

21.   We must surrender everything to God, trusting that His plan for us is greater than our own.

22.   What comes easily has no lasting impact. Delay often intensifies our appreciation for what we receive.

23.   Jealous people, the more they have, the less they want others to have. Let generosity guide your heart.

24.   What you consider insignificant may be someone else’s everything. Never underestimate the value of the small things.

25.   The person you see as a dwarf may be the tallest in their family. Never judge by outward appearances.

26.   Spiritual people don’t judge others; they lift them up and guide them toward growth in God.

Cultivating Spiritual Growth

Dear Beloved,

Welcome to our Prophetic Celebration Briefing & Reflection. This week, our focus is on 1 Corinthians 3:1-9, 3:4, 1:12, 2:9, and Hebrews 5:13-14.

Carnality hinders spiritual growth, keeping believers immature in faith. Paul rebukes the Corinthians for their divisions, showing that following human leaders instead of Christ is a sign of spiritual infancy (1 Cor 3:1-4, 1:12). True wisdom comes not from the flesh but from God, who has prepared unimaginable things for those who love Him (1 Cor 2:9). As Hebrews reminds us, maturity in faith requires discernment and constant nourishment from God’s word (Heb 5:13-14). Let us seek growth beyond the flesh, striving for spiritual maturity in Christ.

I warmly invite you to our Prophetic Atmosphere Conference, beginning Wednesday, 5 March 2025, at 7:00 PM at 1 Toohey Road, Wetherill Park, NSW. This will be a powerful and transformative gathering- don’t miss it!

Blessings!

God bless you!

Here are key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

  1. To recognise the truth, you must first understand the signs of deception.
  2. Some reject spiritual truths because honesty wounds their emotions.
  3. In giving, you make room to receive.
  4. Effective teaching depends not only on the teacher’s skill but also on the student’s ability to receive.
  5. A sign of carnality is elevating preachers to the level of Christ.
  6. Christ is the Son of God by nature; we are children by grace. Salvation, therefore, is solely by grace.
  7. A life without Christ turns every blessing into a burden.
  8. Having nothing brings peace, but having much often brings fear of loss.
  9. God does not give today what is meant for your future self.
  10. What manifests in the physical realm has already been established in the spiritual.
  11. Loving God is shown not in words but in choices and actions.
  12. This generation knows the price of everything but the value of nothing.

Building Long Lasting Relationships

Dear Beloved,

Welcome to our weekly briefing and reflection. This week, we invite you to explore the power of connection, both with the church and with one another.

The church is more than a place of worship; it is a living, breathing family where we find belonging, purpose, and strength. Just as a branch cannot survive apart from the vine (John 15:4-5), we thrive when we are connected to Christ and His body, the church (Romans 12:4-5; Ephesians 1:22-23). In this sacred community, God’s Spirit dwells among us (1 Corinthians 3:16), shaping us into a holy temple (Ephesians 2:21) and guiding us in truth (1 Timothy 3:15). Love is the bond that unites us (Colossians 3:14), and through this unity, we grow stronger, nourished by Christ Himself (Colossians 2:19).

Life can feel empty and uncertain when we try to walk alone. But within the church, we find encouragement and intercession (Romans 8:34, Romans 8:16; Galatians 5:22-23).

If you’ve ever felt lost or disconnected, know that God is inviting you into something greater, a family where you are deeply loved and truly known. Come and experience the fullness of life in Christ.

God bless you!

Here are key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

  1. Failure stands alone; success attracts many.
  2. The church connects you to an eternal home.
  3. Being in church doesn’t guarantee being in God’s temple.
  4. True love corrects, not just comforts.
  5. When you’re not loved, you’re merely tolerated.
  6. The church is the foundation that upholds the family.
  7. In your true calling, limitations disappear.
  8. To receive support, first become a support.
  9. As part of Christ’s body, growth is your design.
  10. Your gift matters most when used for others.
  11. New life in Christ requires staying connected to Him to bear fruit.

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 15-01-2025

Welcome to our routine Prophetic Celebration Brief!

Dear Beloved,

It is with great joy that I welcome you to this time of reflection and renewal, inspired by the wisdom of Psalm 62:11, Matthew 14:13, Job 6:11, Proverbs 11:27, 1 Corinthians 9:25, and Jeremiah 32:16.

God has spoken once, and I have heard it repeatedly: power belongs to Him alone (Psalm 62:11). When our strength falters and hope wavers, like Job, we may ask, 'What strength do I have, that I should hope?' (Job 6:11). Yet, we are reminded that those who seek what is good find favour, and their pursuit of righteousness brings light and joy (Proverbs 11:27).

Let us, therefore, strive for the imperishable crown, not with fleeting efforts, but with discipline and devotion, knowing that every victory is rooted in God’s unmatched strength and grace (1 Corinthians 9:25). In Him, we find hope, strength, and the ultimate source of power that sustains and empowers us daily. Trust in His power, for it never fails.

Let this season be one of breakthrough, freeing you from burdens and renewing your spirit. May God’s grace overflow and transform every area of your life.

Key Takeaways from Last Sunday’s Sermon:

Here’s the list without quotation marks:

  1. True power lies in focus, and focus reveals purpose
  2. The evidence of a strong relationship is always rooted in shared purpose
  3. Your beliefs shape your actions; actions flow from faith
  4. David’s fight for sheep prepared him to fight for men and lead a kingdom
  5. God is purposeful in all His ways
  6. God’s plans are set with precision and intention
  7. Setting goals is both a spiritual responsibility and an act of faith
  8. If you want your faith to grow, set bold and meaningful goals
  9. The voice you listen to will guide the direction of your life
  10. Do not let external noise shape your internal peace
  11. To be present here means you cannot be there; focus on where you are
  12. What fails in your presence will not succeed in your absence
  13. Focus only on what you can control; let go of the rest
  14. If no one is there for you, be present for yourself
  15. Answering Heaven's call brings blessings into your life
  16. When you set good goals, God will help you see them fulfilled
  17. Those who have not endured challenges often judge others too quickly
  18. Money should be a byproduct of purpose, not the purpose itself
  19. Do not let competition mislead you; you are running your unique race

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 19-12-2024

In Hebrews 12:15, we are urged to "see to it that no one falls short of the grace of God." This powerful reminder speaks to the urgency of guarding our hearts and minds against the things that can cause bitterness, distraction, or spiritual complacency. Prayer and fasting are not just rituals, but intimate moments where we draw closer to God's presence, seeking His grace to transform and renew us.

When we set aside time to fast and pray, we humble ourselves before God, allowing Him to search our hearts, remove any unforgiveness, and purify our spirit. It's a sacred act that aligns our will with His and allows His grace to overflow in our lives. Through prayer, we intercede not only for ourselves but for those around us, remembering that as we seek His kingdom, He also calls us to stand in the gap for others.

Let this season of prayer and fasting be a time of deep connection with God, a time to break free from the things that weigh us down, and a time to renew our hearts in His grace. May we be filled with His peace, forgiveness, and love, and may our lives reflect the abundant grace He so freely offers.

God bless all who are reading this!

Here are key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

·        Seek knowledge, and you will be blessed; there is always more than meets the eye.

·        Just because you cannot see it does not mean it does not exist.

·        What you nourish will grow stronger, for what you feed thrives.

·        Satan’s aim is to push you off track and yet, in doing so, often unwittingly elevates you.

·        True confidence is born from doing what dedication demands, even when it seems impossible.

·        As you fast, the very challenges you face will offer what you need.

·        The first step in forgiveness is reconciling with oneself.

·        Purpose is the foundation of discipline; you cannot follow two paths that lead in different directions.

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 12-12-2024

Dear Beloved,

Prayer is the gateway to wisdom, understanding, and divine favour. As Ephesians 1:15-17 reminds us, prayer is more than a ritual, it is the means by which the eyes of our hearts are enlightened, granting us wisdom and revelation in knowing God. When we pray with faith, we align ourselves with the source of all wisdom and understanding.

Proverbs 3:7 urges us not to rely on our limited perspective but to honour God, acknowledging Him as the ultimate guide in all things. Through prayer, we surrender our human arrogance and embrace divine insight, allowing us to walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the foundation of true wisdom.

Proverbs 4:5 and 7 teach that wisdom is the principal thing, and understanding is its companion. Prayer equips us to seek and hold onto these treasures, enabling us to make sound decisions and lead lives of purpose.

Ecclesiastes 2:26 underscores that God grants wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please Him. Prayer positions us in a place of favour, allowing us to receive these gifts and live with clarity, peace, and divine provision.

When we make prayer our anchor, we unlock the limitless power of God in our lives. It is through prayer that we impact the world, walking in wisdom, understanding, and divine favour to accomplish great things.

Blessings to all reading this! For more, see you tomorrow at 7 PM, at 1 Toohey Road, Wetherill Park, NSW.

Here are key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

  1. Prayer is the humble recognition of our limits and the key to genuine dialogue with God.
  2. Through prayer, you create a new atmosphere of possibility and purpose around your life.
  3. Prayer has the power to trigger sudden and profound changes.
  4. To be human is to have blind spots, and prayer illuminates what we cannot see.

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 05-12-2024

Welcome to our routine Prophetic Celebration Briefing based on Genesis 6:5, 8:21. 2 and Kings 19:7

Dear beloved,

The mind is a powerful place, shaping who we are and how we live. But left unchecked, it can also become a source of darkness, filled with thoughts that lead us away from what is good and true. This isn’t a new struggle, it’s been part of humanity since the beginning. The thoughts of the heart can so easily drift toward selfishness, anger, and fear, leaving us feeling lost and disconnected from the life we were created for.

But here’s the hope: God sees beyond the mess of our minds and offers us a way out. He doesn’t leave us to fight the battle on our own. Instead, He reaches out with love and grace, inviting us to let Him transform our minds.

When we open our hearts to Him, He begins to replace those heavy, destructive thoughts with ones filled with peace, purpose, and hope. It’s not an instant fix, but a daily journey of letting Him guide us toward what is right and life-giving. God’s desire is to renew our minds, freeing us from the weight of negativity and pointing us toward the joy and fulfillment we’ve been searching for.

The question is, will you let Him? The same God who saw humanity’s brokenness still sees us today, but He also sees what we can become when we allow Him to reshape our hearts and minds. Take that step toward freedom. Let God lead your thoughts into light, and watch as your life begins to change in ways you never imagined.

God bless all who are reading this!

Here are key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

  1. "You can never rise higher than the level of your thoughts."
  2. "Your life is the mirror of your mind; what you think is what you live."
  3. "The enemy’s greatest weapon is the seed of a thought planted in your mind."
  4. "Victory begins when you learn to guard and challenge every thought that doesn’t align with truth."
  5. "Your mind shapes your reality; neglect your thoughts, and you neglect your future."
  6. "True meditation fills the mind with God’s Word, while the world seeks an empty mind that invites confusion."

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 28-11-2024

Welcome to our Prophetic Celebration Brief, inspired by Genesis 35:1

In Genesis 35:1, God tells Jacob, “Go up to Bethel and settle there, and build an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you were fleeing from your brother Esau.”

This verse reminds us of the power of returning to the sacred places where God’s faithfulness has been revealed in our lives. Life may scatter us in different directions, burden us with challenges, or tempt us to stray from our purpose. Yet, God gently calls us to “Bethel”—the place of remembrance, renewal, and reconnection.

Sometimes, “going back” is not about retracing physical steps but revisiting the moments where we encountered grace, protection, and divine love. It’s about honouring the milestones that shaped our journey and realigning ourselves with the God who has been with us through every storm and victory.

The lesson is clear: when life feels overwhelming, don’t forget to pause and return to your Bethel. In those sacred spaces of reflection, build an altar of gratitude, recommit to your faith, and allow God to direct your steps forward.

It is in these moments of remembrance that we find strength to face what lies ahead, knowing the same God who carried us through our past will sustain us in the future.

God bless all who are reading this!

Here are key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

  1. “There are encounters with God that only the crucible of distress can unlock.”
  2. “Until certain responsibilities are fulfilled, desired change remains elusive.”
  3. “Specific acts of compliance trigger specific divine responses.”
  4. “A genuine encounter with God can propel you ahead of your time.”
  5. “When obedience is complete, blessings flow effortlessly, without petition.”
  6. “In the realm of power, pity has no currency.”

Dear Beloved,

In the face of life's challenges, let us be inspired by Hebrews 11:7 to act with strong faith, trusting in God's guidance even when the path is uncertain. Romans 12:3 reminds us to remain humble and recognise that our strengths are gifts from God, meant for the greater good. Ephesians 4:7 calls us to embrace the unique grace each of us has been given and use it to uplift others. Together, let us walk in faith, humility, and grace, reflecting God’s love through our actions and supporting each other in our journey.

7. “Every gift from God is filled with potential; seek to understand its depth.”

8. “Never compromise your true identity, for it is a reflection of your divine purpose.”

9. “The outcomes of battles are forged in prayer; do not be confined by limitations.”

10. “Work and worship are intertwined; if your work is not worship, it is time to reassess.”

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 08-08-2024

Welcome to our Prophetic Celebration Brief, inspired by Matthew 10:16, 19, 24, 25, and 27.

Dear Beloved,

In Matthew 10:16 onwards, Jesus calls us to be shrewd as snakes and innocent as doves, urging us to navigate a complex world with wisdom and purity. He promises that in our moments of trial, the Spirit will speak through us, offering divine guidance. HE reminds us that discipleship involves sharing in the suffering of the Master, and in Matthew 10:27, Jesus challenges us to boldly declare our faith, proclaiming from the rooftops what has been whispered in our hearts. Embrace wisdom, trust divine guidance, endure with resilience, and declare your truth with courage.

I warmly invite you to our Waves of Glory conference in Auckland on August 16th and 17th, at 10 AM and 7 PM. Join us for a time of great blessing and inspiration!

God bless you!

Here are some of key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

·       Courage unlocks the door to risk. Without it, you remain locked in place.

·       The Word of God is a double-edged sword: it can wound or heal, depending on how it is wielded.

·       In the absence of truth, one becomes a servant to deceit.

·       True love for your children lies not in shielding them from challenges, but in equipping them to face life's trials in your absence.

·       Yesterday’s strategies may falter in today’s landscape.

·       Loyalty follows one's true priorities.

·       Attention to storms overshadows the word, and what you focus on nourishes your spirit.

·       The power you surrender shapes what drives you.

·       Those who manipulate you often do so by exploiting your fears.

·       Loyalty to your destiny outweighs comfort.

·       People envy your achievements but often overlook the sacrifices required to attain them

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 01-08-2024

Happy new month and welcome to our regular prophetic celebration brief, inspired by the teachings of Ephesians 6:19, Colossians 4:3, and Acts 12.

Beloved,

Pray without ceasing. In your prayers, seek the boldness to proclaim the Gospel with clarity. Ask God to open doors for His word, so His mystery may be revealed through you. Just as Peter was freed from his chains through the prayers of the faithful, trust that God will protect and deliver you from those who oppose His truth. Through prayer, let us find the strength and courage to spread His light, transforming lives and sharing His boundless love with the world.

I also invite you to our Friday watchnight service, starting at 7 PM at 1 Toohey Road, Wetherill Park, NSW.

God bless you!

Here are some of key extractions from the sermon on last Sunday:

·       Meeting Jesus won’t automatically open all doors; prayer, determination, and hard work will unlock them one by one.

·       Just as prayer brought you closer to Jesus, it will also bring you revelations from Him.

·       It’s risky to take a break from prayer.

·       Blessings come through prayer and persistence, not by mere chance. Kneeling in prayer anchors you, while standing without it leaves you vulnerable.

·       Your goodness and kind gestures may bless some, but they can also annoy others.

·       Those with great potential often attract enemies. To live long, learn to stay discreet, as we are surrounded by wickedness.

·       Your goodness doesn’t exempt you from battles; it prepares you for them.

·       Sometimes, confronting evil friends is harder than fighting enemies.

·       God won’t give you anything that undermines your relationship with Him. The more He blesses you, the more you should connect with Him.

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 20-06-2024

You are invited to our prophetic celebration, guided by the wisdom of 1 Peter 1:13 and Genesis 2:15.

Dear Friends,

As we reflect on our journey, let's embrace the wisdom from the scriptures. 1 Peter 1:13 encourages us to "prepare our minds for action and be sober-minded; set our hope fully on the grace that will be brought to us at the revelation of Jesus Christ." This reminds us to focus our thoughts, stay vigilant, and place our trust in the grace given to us.

Genesis 2:15 emphasizes the importance of stewardship: "The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and keep it." This highlights our duty to diligently care for and cultivate the blessings we've received.

Together, these scriptures empower us to take thoughtful and purposeful actions, balancing grace and responsibility in all we do.

Here are some of key extractions from the sermon on Sunday:

1. "Holiness is not perfection."

2. "Your back may be on the ground, but it will only be a background."

3. "Nobody was born refined."

4. "You don’t realize how wicked you can be until you have power."

5. "Never judge people if you do not know their story."

6. "You don’t have to bring others down just to stand up."

7. "Whatever informs you is forming you."

8. "Your words must relieve you."

9. "Your words are not ordinary; they create."

10. "A sealed mouth doesn’t reveal ignorance."

11. "People may have expectations of you that you don’t know."

12. "People project onto you who they are."

13. "The more you make people dependent on you, the more difficult it is for them to be independent."

14. "It is better to eat for a long time than to eat all at once."

15. "There are people you help who take it as an insult."

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 30-05-2024

Beloved, welcome to our regular Prophetic Celebration Briefs. Today’s message draws inspiration from last Sunday’s sermon, focusing on Proverbs 3:5-6 and Jeremiah 17:5.

Dear friends,

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and avoid relying solely on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in every part of your life, and He will direct your path. Relying only on human wisdom and strength often leads to disappointment. True wisdom is found in trusting God, seeking His guidance in every decision, and recognising that His direction is ultimately the best for our lives.

God bless you.

Here are some key takeaways from the sermon:

- Dealing with an unteachable person is challenging.

- Sometimes, your generosity can open doors that later become problematic.

- To receive help, be a source of help to others.

- Prayer can open doors, but attitudes can close them.

- You don’t always get what you pray for; you get what you need.

- Those you sin with will eventually sin against you.

- People who are disloyal to their own values will also be disloyal to you.

- Excuses close doors. Without resilience, opportunities remain elusive.

- Progress requires friction. Success begins with discomfort.

- Success in life requires favour from both God and man.

- The greatest gifts from God are the people He places in your life, not material things.

- Smiling faces don’t always reflect true emotions; some smiles are not genuine.

- Opportunities are often hidden within responsibilities.

- Greedy people are never satisfied.

- Conflicts arise from opening doors to the wrong people.

- To go far, set boundaries.

- Genuine love is not a struggle.

- The enemy does not target the strong.

- Deep truths are often hidden in weak things.

- Surround yourself with people who inspire you to greatness.

- Trust actions, not just words.

Dear Beloved,

We extend a warm welcome to our “Prophetic Celebration,” centred around Mark 11:1.

The Scripture demonstrates the need to find joy in simplicity and humility, for our true victory lies in righteousness. Just as our King entered humbly on a donkey, let us approach each day with humility, kindness, and righteousness. Embrace the beauty in simplicity, and remember that greatness can be found in the smallest acts of kindness and love. Rejoice in the presence of the Lord, and may His grace guide your every step.

Join us today for our special Easter conference, happening from March 29th to 31st, 2024, at 1 Toohey Rd, Wetherill Park, NSW. It’s set to be a time of immense blessing and spiritual growth. We look forward to welcoming you!

God bless you!

Below are valuable highlights from today’s sermon:

• Without leadership, one easily becomes a critic of others’ experiences.

• God structured life so that no one can possess everything, or they would become like a god.

• Achieving great things often requires selflessness, despite obstacles.

• True dignity comes from earning what you consume.

• The more you delve into Scripture and deepen your relationship with God, the more profound its meaning becomes.

• God calls us not only to free the captives but also to free those who hold others captive.

• Your legacy is measured by what people say about you after you’re gone, much like the boy who provided the fish and loaves that Jesus multiplied.

• The seeds you plant in others will speak for your own children.

• Life is not defined by what you accumulate for yourself, but by what you do for others.

• Today’s pride may become tomorrow’s downfall.

• Selflessness is finding joy in the success of others.

• Initially, I believed God gives you what you pray for, but maturity taught me that God gives you what you desire for others.

Welcome to our “Prophetic Celebration” brief centred around Psalms 112 and 127

  Beloved in the Lord,

The Psalms remind us that without the Lord’s guidance, our efforts to build our families are in vain. Let us centre our homes on God’s foundation, making Him the cornerstone. Specifically, let us build our homes on the principles of love, faith, and righteousness found in His Word. May our families shine as beacons of light in a dark world.

• Prayer can achieve what labour cannot.

• Blessings often come disguised as setbacks.

• Immaturity coupled with abundance leads to self-destruction.

• Spiritual allergies, though less visible, can be more perilous than physical ones.

• Focus on the future, not on the immutable past.

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 15-12-2023

Welcome to our prophetic celebration brief centred around 1 John 4:1-6, Luke 26, and 2 Corinthians 13:5

Dear Beloved Friends,

In a world often filled with noise and conflicting voices, let us heed the timeless wisdom found in Scriptures to navigate our path with discernment and faith.

In 1 John 4:1-6, we are urged to test the spirits, to discern between truth and deceit. It’s a reminder that not every voice or idea aligns with the truth. We’re encouraged to scrutinize, with a heart rooted in faith, to discern the authenticity of what we encounter.

Luke 26 invites us to put our faith in God’s providence and to trust in His wisdom. Even amidst life’s challenges and uncertainties, our faith serves as an anchor, guiding us through storms and helping us to persevere.

2 Corinthians 13:5 encourages introspection, urging us to examine ourselves. This self-reflection allows us to assess our faith, actions, and beliefs, ensuring they resonate with the truth and love of Christ.

Therefore, let us approach our journey with open hearts and discerning minds. Let us seek the truth, not swayed by every idea that presents itself but grounded in the unwavering faith that sustains us. Let us trust in God’s guidance, knowing that His wisdom surpasses all understanding.

May we continuously examine ourselves, aligning our thoughts and actions with the love and truth of Christ. As we journey together, may our discernment, faith, and self-reflection illuminate our path and lead us closer to His grace and wisdom.

Wishing you God’s blessings abundantly!”

·       “The spirit of the Antichrist dwells in favouring oneself while condemning others.”

·       “When God blesses others, it’s acceptable, but classifying their acts as arrogance embodies the Antichrist’s spirit.”

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 8-12-2023

“Hello, beloved! Let’s reflect on the enriching Sunday sermon. The discussion centred on the wisdom found in Psalm 112:1-4 and Hebrews 6:12.

In considering Psalm 112:1-4 and Hebrews 6:12, let’s embrace a profound message: Life’s beauty resonates in the embrace of virtues and faith. Just as Psalm 112:1-4 celebrates the joy of revering the Lord and cherishing His teachings, Hebrews 6:12 underscores the virtue of patience in securing promises through faith and perseverance. Let’s endeavour to live with reverence, kindness, and resolve. Embrace the journey, cling to hope, and sow seeds of goodness, for in due time, the harvest of blessings and fulfillment will undoubtedly flourish in our lives.

May God bless each of you abundantly!”

·       “Compliance births the fruition of instructions, ushering in manifestations.”

·       “Obedience, not solely the spoken word, beckoned the fish to Peter and his comrades; it’s the master key.”

·       “Favour, though a gracious gift, does not nullify the truth; it stands beside the diligence of work ethics.”

Welcome to our “Prophetic Celebration” briefing. Today, we explore the profound insights from Sunday’s sermon, centred around Psalm 127, Deuteronomy 30:19, Joshua 24:19, Proverbs 11:23, and Romans 2:8

Dearest and Beloved Companions in Christ,

No matter what we do or where we find ourselves, it's essential to recognize that the Lord plays a significant role in how things unfold in our lives. We should be grateful because He has control over every part of our existence. Life essentially boils down to the choices we make, and the decision set before us by God is of tremendous importance. We can opt for a life filled with blessings by choosing to embrace it. But it's equally crucial to understand that turning away from God may lead to adverse consequences, even after He has been good to us. The righteous, those who walk in goodness, find their desires leading to positive outcomes, while the expectations of the wicked often result in negative consequences. Keep in mind that God's judgment extends to both the good and bad actions we take in this world. In essence, our choices have a profound impact on our life's journey, so choose wisely.

May God’s unceasing grace enrich your journey, illuminating your path with wisdom and understanding.

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 2-11-2023

Welcome to our “Prophetic Celebration” briefing. Today, we’ll explore insights from Sunday’s sermon, focusing on John 4:19 and 1 Chronicles 6:31

Dear Beloved,

In John 4:19, the Samaritan woman at the well said to Jesus, "Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet." This simple acknowledgment carries profound significance. It reminds us of the transformative power of encountering Christ. When we recognise Jesus as the Messiah, our lives can be forever changed. Just as the Samaritan woman's perception of Christ led her to share the Good News with her community, our acknowledgment of Jesus can inspire us to become messengers of His love, hope, and grace to the world. It's a reminder that God can use ordinary encounters to bring about extraordinary transformations, leading us to share His message of salvation with others.

1 Chronicles 6:31 speaks of the Levites' role in worship and service to God. In our own lives, this passage serves as a reminder of our calling to worship and serve the Lord. Just as the Levites had specific responsibilities in the temple, each of us has a unique role in God's divine plan. Through worship, prayer, and service, we can honour our commitment to the Lord and contribute to the spiritual growth of our community. This verse encourages us to embrace our roles with dedication and humility, recognizing that in our service to God, we find fulfillment and purpose. It's a reminder that in our faith journey, God invites us to be active participants in His divine mission, allowing us to bring His light to a world in need.

God bless you!

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION                                                                   28-09-2023

Greetings, dear friends,

Welcome to our "Prophetic Celebration" update, where we find inspiration in the timeless words of Psalm 105:1-3 and the humble yet powerful narrative of Luke 2:7-8.

In Psalm 105, we are reminded to express our gratitude to the Lord, to call upon His name, and to share His wondrous deeds among all peoples. We are called to sing His praises and to revel in His holy name, allowing our hearts to be filled with joy in the pursuit of seeking the Lord (Psalm 105:1-3).

Now, let us embark on a journey to that extraordinary night in Bethlehem, where the birth of Jesus unfolded. This story, filled with simplicity and profound significance, describes how Mary gave birth to her firstborn son and tenderly wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, laying Him in a manger due to the lack of space in the inn. In that same region, shepherds were vigilantly watching over their flock under the night's starry sky (Luke 2:7-8).

Herein lies the incredible essence of our faith – God's divine plan unfolding within the humblest of beginnings and in the presence of ordinary shepherds. He deliberately chose unassuming circumstances to reveal His profound love for us, reminding us that greatness often emerges from the simplest of settings.

I want to take this moment to remind you of our upcoming Apostolic Conference, which will be held at 1 Toohey Road, Wetherill Park, from the 4th to the 8th of October 2023, beginning at 5 a.m. and our evening services happening at 7 p.m. We invite you to join us for this spiritually enriching experience; don't miss this opportunity!

May the abundant blessings of the Lord be upon you and yours.

Valuable highlights from the sermon

·        "Just like we need darkness before we see light, it's important to understand different sides of God for our praises to be meaningful."

·        "If you don't appreciate things, your ability to see things clearly might suffer."

·        "Even if you don't have something, God can use you to help others who need it."

·        "No matter how much you cry, God won't give you things before the right time."

·        "Life wouldn't make sense without both living and dying."

·        "Embarrassing moments can be what makes God step in and help you."

·        "God sometimes puts you through challenges to make you more thankful."

·        "We're not celebrating what we've been through but what good things are coming."

Beloved, I extend my heartfelt blessings to you. Let’s delve into the wisdom found within Sunday's sermon, with a profound focus on the verses from Marks 16:14 and 1 John 5:19.

In the sacred words of Mark 16:14, we are reminded of the paramount significance of solid faith and belief in the divine, even in the presence of doubt and uncertainty.

The verse from 1 John 5:19 serves as a reminder of the pervasive grip that darkness and temptation can hold on our world. It emphasizes the imperative for us, as faithful believers, to stand vigilant and unwavering in our faith, fully aware that we are the cherished children of God.

These verses issue a profound call to action. They beckon us to confront our doubts and unbelief, much as Jesus challenged His disciples. They compel us to acknowledge the pervasive influence of negative forces in our world and to resolutely withstand them, guided by our unwavering faith.

Let us take these words to heart, nurturing an unwavering faith in the face of doubt. Let us never forget that we are entrusted as children of God with the noble mission of illuminating this world with His light and love, especially when darkness looms large. In moments of uncertainty and adversity, let our faith be our strength and shield, steering us toward choices that align with God's divine will. Together, we can triumph over doubt, firmly resisting the sway of darkness and radiating as beacons of hope and love in a world yearning for it.

We also invite you to mark your calendars for our upcoming Apostolic Conference, featuring invigorating 5 a.m. prayers and inspiring 7 p.m. services from the 4th to the 5th of October, 2023, at 1 Toohey Road, Wetherill Park, NSW. PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 15-09-2023

Welcome to our “Prophetic Celebration” briefing, where we delve into the profound insights gathered from Sunday’s sermon, centring our focus on our journey of walking in sync with God. The sermon drew inspiration from the scriptures in Exodus: Exodus 12:37, Exodus 5:1, Exodus 6:1, Exodus 7:1, and Exodus 8:1.

Beloved Community,

In the pages of Exodus, we are privileged to witness the awe-inspiring journey of the Israelites, as they transitioned from the shackles of bondage into the boundless embrace of freedom. Exodus 12:37 serves as a testament to this remarkable transformation. It is not the sheer number of those who departed from Egypt that captures our hearts, but rather the divine masterpiece of liberation conducted by the hand of God.

Exodus 5:1 echoes through the corridors of time with Pharaoh’s probing inquiry, "Who is the LORD, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go?" This question reverberates within us all, challenging us to introspect deeply. Who is this God we serve, and are we ready to heed His beckoning call towards emancipation?

In Exodus 6:1, we are enveloped by the unwavering assurance God bestowed upon Moses, promising the deliverance of His people. In the tapestry of our lives, God pledges to guide us out of our personal "Egypt," those places of captivity and despair. His promises stand unshaken amidst the turbulent currents of life.

Exodus 7:1 shines a spotlight on God’s remarkable capacity to employ the most improbable vessels, exemplified in the person of Moses, to manifest His sovereign power. The question for us is whether we are receptive to becoming instruments through which God’s glory is unveiled to the world.

Exodus 8:1 unveils God’s mastery over the natural world, demonstrating His authority over creation itself. Just as He sent plagues to affirm His dominion, He stands ready to pour blessings and miracles into our lives.

In these verses, we unearth a potent message: God is the Author of our emancipation, the Answer to Pharaoh’s profound query, the Assurance of our deliverance, the Appointer of unlikely messengers, and the Almighty Sovereign over all creation. Let us reflect earnestly on our personal voyage from the clutches of bondage towards the fullness of freedom, discern the constant presence of God in our lives, and open our hearts to the miraculous power that flows from His divine hand.

God bless you!

Valuable highlights from the sermon

·        "To triumph in God's grace, one must wholeheartedly accept all His provisions."

·        "None traverse the path to God in isolation."

·        "God has crafted you into someone undiscovered; only by recognizing His work can you unveil your authentic self."

·        "Being 'on the go' is not self-prompting; it's the answer to God's summons."

·        "While you seek validation, others embrace revelation; your faith dictates your share in their narration."

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 07-09-2023

Greetings and welcome to our "Prophetic Celebration" briefing. Today, we embark on a journey to delve into the profound revelations derived from Sunday’s sermon. Our focus centres on the enlightening passages found in Colossians Chapter 1:1-2 and verse 3:16-17.

Dear Beloved in Christ,

As I reflect on the words penned in Colossians 1:1-2, I am reminded of the profound unity we share in our faith. We are bound not only by our shared belief but also by the love and grace that flows through us, connecting us like threads in the tapestry of God’s divine plan.

In Colossians 3:16-17, we are reminded of the importance of letting the Word of Christ dwell in us richly. It is in the study and application of God’s Word that we find wisdom and understanding, leading to the peace that transcends all understanding.

Let us, dear brothers and sisters, live our lives in a manner worthy of the Gospel, allowing the love of Christ to shine through us in all that we do. In our unity, gratitude, and devotion to His Word, may we become a living testament to the transformative power of faith.

May God’s grace continue to abound in your lives, filling you with wisdom and understanding as you walk in His light.

Valuable highlights from the sermon

·        "In God’s language, a single word can unveil a multitude or an array of words may unveil the essence of one. Behind the simplicity of His word lies the complexity of the universe, and within the complexity of the universe, resides a single word."

·        "God crafted you uniquely for a purpose, a purpose that may remain concealed, waiting for you to uncover."

·        "Reconciliation must first pass through the Son to reach the Father. In Christ, we find the path to true reconciliation."

·        "Remember, what you believe is meant for you is not about you; it’s a testament to the glory of Christ."

·        "Beware of freedoms that lead to your destruction; not all liberties are beneficial."

·        "To become a new creation, it’s not enough to merely act differently; your thoughts must align with the transformation. Jesus discerned thoughts, not just actions."

·        "Salvation added nothing to the God-head; Jesus’ name was already established in the heavens."

·        "True attractiveness is not measured by appearances; it’s the spirit within that captivates. Men and women seek character in their partners, while boys and girls are beguiled by looks."

·        "Your beauty may attract a man, but it’s your character that will secure a husband. Your wealth may gain you a woman, but your character will grant you a wife."

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 31-08-2023

Dear friends in faith,

In the grace bestowed upon us, we are urged to offer ourselves as living sacrifices. This call, dear brethren, is not one of ritualistic offerings, but rather a surrender of our hearts and lives to a higher purpose. As we tread the path of devotion, let us not be conformed to the patterns of this world, but rather be transformed by the renewal of our minds.

In this transformation, we discover the beauty of a life dedicated to goodness and service. Let love be genuine, a force that binds us to one another in sincere affection. May our hearts resonate with empathy, embracing both joys and sorrows, and may our actions speak of humility, lifting others in moments of need.

The talents bestowed upon us are not for self-gain alone. Let us employ them with diligence, each gift contributing to the greater good. Be it prophecy, ministry, teaching, or exhortation, let these gifts be offered as instruments of grace, bringing light to a world sometimes shrouded in darkness.

Amidst life's challenges, let perseverance be our armour, and prayer our refuge. Our hope, anchored in the promise of salvation, fuels our endurance through trials. Let us bless even those who persecute us, for in forgiveness, we partake in the very essence of Christ's teachings.

Unity within the body of believers is paramount. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. In these shared emotions, we knit a tapestry of empathy that reflects the compassionate heart of our Savior.

Dear brethren, in Romans 12, we find a guide to a life of purpose, virtue, and love. As we offer our lives as living sacrifices, may we be living testimonies to the transformative power of faith. Let our actions, words, and attitudes mirror the message of Christ's enduring love. For in this offering, we discover a fulfillment that resonates through eternity.

May grace and peace be upon us all.

God bless you!

·       "From spirit's birth, its fruits find root in you."

·       "In God's capabilities, let no boundaries confine what He can achieve for, through, and to you."

·       "While labour spans a millennium, God's hand can bestow it in but a day."

·       "Freedom of choice, a weighty divine bestowal; all else bows before Him, except those He entrusted with choice."

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 16-08-2023

Welcome to our “Prophetic Celebration” briefing. Today, we’re about to explore the insights from Sunday’s sermon, where we’ll be focusing on James 5:13 and Hebrews 12-1.

Dear Beloved,

James 5:13-14 teaches us the beauty of community in times of trial and sickness. It reminds us that in our moments of distress, we should pray, and in times of illness, we should call upon the elders of the church to anoint and pray for us. This act of seeking prayerful support reflects the strength of unity, as we come together to share our burdens and lift each other in faith.

Hebrews 12:1 paints a picture of a race marked out for us. Life’s journey is not always easy; it’s a race that requires endurance, perseverance, and a steadfast focus on Christ. Just as runners shed unnecessary weight, we too must cast aside anything that hinders our spiritual journey – doubts, fears, sins – and run with determination, our eyes fixed on Jesus, who is both our example and our ultimate goal.

As we reflect on these verses, let us remember that in our times of need, we have a community of believers ready to stand with us in prayer and support. The journey of faith is not meant to be walked alone; we are part of a larger family, bound by our shared love for Christ.

In the race of faith, there will be moments of weariness, challenges, and setbacks. But in those moments, let us lean on one another, allowing our combined faith to carry us forward. Let us encourage one another to keep our eyes on the prize – a deeper relationship with Christ and the promise of eternal glory.

So, as we navigate life’s twists and turns, let us be a community that prays fervently and supports wholeheartedly. And as we run this race, may our lives be a testament to the power of faith, the strength of unity, and the unwavering love of our Savior. Together, we press on, fixing our eyes on Jesus, our ultimate source of inspiration, guidance, and hope.

Valuable highlights from the sermon

·        Whether knowingly or not, everything on earth engages in prayer.

·        Sickness affects not only the body, but also the soul’s well-being.

·        Rise above challenging circumstances with the strength of your spirit.

·        Sickness not only weakens the body but also makes one susceptible to deliverance.

·        The most profound disability is not physical, but mental. The mind’s control influences everything, as seen when Jesus bid the lame to walk.

·        The point of enemy attack is often the locus of eventual deliverance.

·        All you require for transformation resides within you. Destiny connectors merely reveal your innate capabilities.

·        Those who possess answers are limited, while individuals with questions can unlock novel solutions.

·        Abnormality is shaped by those who claim normalcy. The pivotal inquiry is: Are you truly normal?

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 08-08-2023

Welcome to our briefing for “Prophetic Celebration”. Today, we’ll be delving into the insights from Sunday’s sermon, focusing on passages from the Bible: Exodus 3:1, Matthew 25-35, Hebrews 13:1, and 2.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

In the spirit of Moses encountering the burning bush on Mount Horeb, may our lives also be touched by God’s unexpected and awe-inspiring presence. Exodus 3:1 serves as a reminder of God’s extraordinary existence within the ordinary, inviting us to draw closer and listen attentively.

As we continue our journey in life, let us keep Matthew 25:35 in mind. This verse embodies Jesus’ call to extend our hands in love, caring for those in need, thus reflecting His compassionate heart for the marginalised.

Hebrews 13:1 encourages us to maintain a constant flow of brotherly love, demonstrating hospitality to one another. May our hearts be vessels of kindness, radiating the love that Christ has so abundantly poured into us.

In all aspects of life, let us attune ourselves to God’s gentle whispers, embrace acts of kindness, and welcome one another with open arms.

Blessings and warm regards!

Valuable highlights from the sermon

·        In the realm of God’s intentions, completion precedes initiation. Thus, attempting to alter God’s divine plan is beyond our capacity.

·        Grace comes into view when we are fully present and observant. Countless blessings evade those preoccupied with the distant future, missing the beauty unfolding in the present.

·        Just as Mary carried the divine, sometimes the grandeur of our inner journey remains hidden from the outer world.

·        To encounter God as a provider, one must first embrace God as a seeker, aching for sustenance.

·        Each path God calls us to traverse is a conduit for growth and wisdom.

·        Testimonies, glowing with triumph, often conceal the trials that tested their strength.

·        It was in Abraham’s willingness to offer his beloved Isaac that he truly met God, the ultimate provider.

·        Miracles may evade those consumed by self-absorption. Even in haste, stay attuned to the miraculous around you.

·        May these reflections inspire you on your journey of faith.

Embrace transformation with an open heart, for in 2 Corinthians 5:16, it is written that we should no longer see others from a worldly point of view. Let Romans 12 guide you to renew your mind, finding your true purpose in pleasing God and embracing His perfect will.

As you seek understanding, remember Matthew 13:10, where Jesus encourages us to listen and open our hearts to grasp the mysteries of His kingdom. Allow His teachings to shape your thoughts and actions.

May these scriptures inspire you to walk a path of enlightenment, growing in faith and spreading love and compassion to all you encounter. Let the Word of God be a guiding light in your journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth. God bless you!

·        The deeper you delve into knowing God, the greater the mystery becomes.

·        In the new kingdom, true gain comes when understanding breaks through; hearing is not enough.

·        Embrace Christ as the first man in the new kingdom, and you shall never lose your way.

·        People desire your testimony, yet often shy away from the suffering that birthed it.

·        In the season of grace, the presence of God can achieve what labour alone cannot.

·        Opportunities from God often carry burdens, and your response to these burdens determines your success.

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 20-07-2023

Welcome to our “Prophetic Celebration” briefing. Today’s insights draw from Sunday’s sermon based on Proverbs 23:7; Proverbs 23:1, Proverbs 4:23, and Isaiah 11:1-3.

My dear brothers and sisters, let us ponder on the wisdom of the Scriptures, for they hold the keys to a life of righteousness and understanding. As we delve into Proverbs 23:7, we are reminded that “as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Our thoughts are powerful, shaping the very essence of our being. What we harbour in our hearts will eventually manifest in our actions and words. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to guard our thoughts diligently, for they can lead us toward righteousness or down the paths of sin and destruction.

In Proverbs 23:1, we are cautioned against the allure of worldly pleasures. “When you sit to dine with a ruler, note well what is before you,” it says. Let us be aware of the temptations that surround us, enticing us with fleeting pleasures that may lead us astray from God’s path. In a world filled with distractions and enticements, we must be discerning, ensuring that our hearts are set on the eternal treasures of heaven, rather than on the passing pleasures of this world.

Proverbs 4:23 serves as a poignant reminder to “guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” The heart is the wellspring of life, and it is from there that our actions and decisions flow. Let us take heed to protect our hearts from bitterness, envy, and deceit, and instead, fill them with love, compassion, and truth. By cultivating a heart that is aligned with God’s will, we pave the way for a life of righteousness, peace, and joy.

As we meditate on these verses, let us pause and reflect on the state of our hearts and minds. Are we allowing negative thoughts and worldly desires to take root within us, or are we consciously choosing to focus on what is pure and pleasing in the eyes of our Creator? Let us not be complacent, but rather, let us be intentional in guarding our hearts and minds, for they are the battlegrounds of our souls.

In a world that constantly bombards us with conflicting messages and distractions, let us find solace in the Word of God. Let it be our guiding light, illuminating the path of righteousness and leading us away from the pitfalls of sin. May we be transformed by the renewing of our minds, so that our thoughts and actions align with the will of God.

Remember, dear friends, that the choices we make today will shape our destiny tomorrow. Let us choose to set our minds on things above and guard our hearts with diligence. May the wisdom of Proverbs be etched upon our hearts, guiding us to live a life that brings honour and glory to our Heavenly Father. Amen.

Highlights from the sermon

God desires not only to be your loving Father but also your trusted business partner in life's journey.

·        Making excuses robs you of the divine opportunity to encounter God and experience His transformative power.

Rest is important, but never let it become an excuse to become complacent, for a greater rest is awaiting us after this life.

The purpose of man's creation is to take up the mantle of rulership and leadership within the divine order of creation.

Even in times of abundance, resist the temptation of gluttony; instead, practice moderation and self-control.

Cultivate the ability to eat without being controlled solely by your desires and cravings; exercise restraint and discipline in your choices.

Be cautious of what you consider as food, as not everything that appears appealing may be beneficial to your well-being.

Until your perspective is aligned with righteousness and truth, even the blessings and provisions of God may not be fully appreciated.

The seeds of God's work in your life are sown through the power of thought; let your mind be attuned to His will and purpose.

Today's insights are drawn from Sunday's sermon based on John 4:1, John 4:19, James 2:14, and Galatians 5:13-14.

I now invite you to reflect on three vital themes: sharing testimonies, professing faith, and understanding the essence of service. These themes are inspired by the teachings found in John 4:1, John 4:19, James 2:14, and Galatians 5:13-14.

In John 4:1, we encounter the woman who courageously left behind her jar, symbolizing a departure from her past ideologies and purpose. Embracing a new path, she chose to serve her community, becoming an agent of transformation. This reminds us of the positive impact our testimonies can have when we serve and share them.

John 4:19 teaches us that many Samaritans came to believe in God through the woman's testimony. Her willingness to share her encounter with Jesus ignited faith in those around her. This highlights the importance of boldly professing our faith, as our testimonies can inspire and guide others towards God.

James 2:14 reminds us that genuine faith is demonstrated through action. It is not enough to possess knowledge or claim belief; true faith compels us to engage in deeds of service to others. Our testimonies should motivate us to make a difference in the lives of those around us.

Lastly, Galatians 5:13-14 urges us to grasp the essence of service. God has blessed us with freedom, not as a justification for selfishness, but as an opportunity to selflessly serve one another with love. When we receive a testimony, be it a personal victory or a divine intervention, we should never withdraw into seclusion. Instead, let us utilize our testimonies as catalysts to serve, uplift, and support others.

Therefore, I encourage you, dear friends, to reflect upon these teachings. When God blesses you with a testimony, do not keep it to yourself. Step forward with courage and share it with others. Boldly profess your faith, aligning your actions with your beliefs. Embrace the true essence of service, understanding that through love, we can leave a lasting impact on the world around us.

May we all be inspired to live out our testimonies, radiate our light, and bring hope to those in need.

Highlights from the sermon

·        "When God grants you a testimony, your agenda shifts from self to the Heavens, aligning you with the divine plan."

·        "Embrace your testimony as an invitation to redirect your focus towards the higher agenda of Heaven."

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION                                                      11-05-2023

Welcome to our “Prophetic Celebration” briefing. Today’s briefing covers Psalm 1, Psalm 90, Psalm 126, Psalm 32, and Psalm 2.

The Book of Psalms is a treasure trove of wisdom that can transform our lives. As we reflect on these Psalms, we are reminded that true happiness, success, and fulfillment come from seeking God's guidance and living according to His ways.

Psalm 1 teaches us that those who delight in God's law and meditate on it day and night will be like trees planted by streams of water, bearing fruit in due season.

Psalm 90 reminds us of the brevity of life and the importance of seeking God's wisdom in all we do. We are reminded that our lives are like grass that withers and fades away, but God's love endures forever.

Psalm 126 celebrates the joy of restoration and redemption, reminding us that those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.

Psalm 32 teaches us about the transformative power of confession and forgiveness, reminding us that when we acknowledge our wrongdoings and seek God's forgiveness, we can experience the freedom and joy of being released from guilt and shame.

Finally, Psalm 2 reveals the ultimate authority and sovereignty of God, reminding us that when we trust in His power and wisdom, we can live with confidence and courage in the face of adversity.

As we apply the wisdom of these Psalms to our lives, may we find peace, joy, and fulfillment in living according to God's ways. May we seek His guidance and wisdom in all we do, trusting in His love and sovereignty.

Highlights from the sermon

·        The path that led the children of Israel to freedom, led the children of Egypt to their graves.

·        You are a duality - one part that must perish, and one part that must live for God.

·        You weren't saved after you were born, you were saved before you were born.

·        Your sins were not forgiven because you committed them, your sins were forgiven before you committed them.

·        Jesus' sacrifice was for all, but only those willing to accept it will benefit.

·        Life has two paths - the narrow path is safe, the broader path is dangerous.

·        God does not commission journeys He is not willing to embark on with you.

·        When you're broke, it's easy to think that money brings happiness.

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 30-03-2023

Welcome to our "Prophetic Celebration" briefing. Today, we will be exploring three powerful biblical verses: Matthew Chapter 21:1, Genesis 49:10, and Genesis 2:7. Each of these verses offers unique insights into our relationship with God and our purpose in life.

Matthew Chapter 21:1 describes the scene of Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey, fulfilling the prophecy of Zechariah 9:9. This moment reminds us that even the greatest among us must remain humble and grounded in our actions and deeds. It is a call to maintain our humility, no matter how successful or powerful we may become. We must never forget our roots and the people who have helped us along the way.

In Genesis 49:10, we read about the prophecy concerning the tribe of Judah, from which the Messiah would come. This teaches us that there is a divine purpose and plan for each of our lives. It reminds us to trust in God's plan and timing, and to strive to fulfill our own unique calling and purpose in life. We should not compare ourselves to others or try to live up to someone else's expectations, but instead, focus on our own path.

Finally, in Genesis 2:7, we read about God breathing life into Adam and making him a living being. This reminds us that we are all created in the image of God and have inherent value and dignity. We should treat ourselves and others with respect and kindness, recognizing the worth and potential that each person possesses. This verse highlights the importance of compassion and empathy, and calls us to see the divine nature in all human beings.

In conclusion, these three verses provide valuable guidance for our lives. We should strive to live humbly, trust in God's plan for our lives, and recognize the inherent value and dignity of all people. May we all seek to make the world a better place, one small act of kindness at a time.

Highlights from the sermon

  1. "To be born again is to unite with Christ in spirit, and in this union, we find new life."
  2. "Education is essential for the soul, but to truly learn we must also take action and walk the path that leads to knowledge. Like a donkey needing to be ridden, our bodies must be engaged to carry us towards enlightenment."
  3. "The spirit is already one with Christ, and it is through this unity that we find our true identity and purpose."
  4. "To allow Jesus to ride upon us is to surrender our will and direction to His divine guidance. Many believers resist this, fearing the unknown path that lies ahead."
  5. "True royalty is not measured by external adornments, but by the purity of one's bloodline. Similarly, our worth is not determined by what we wear, but by the divine nature within us."
  6. "We possess the will to do great things, but it is through the power of God that we find the strength to achieve them."
  7. "Though we may voice our opinions and desires, it is ultimately God's will that prevails. Trust in His wisdom and surrender to His divine plan."

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 30-03-2023

You’re welcome to our “Prophetic Celebration” briefing. Today’s Prophetic Celebration briefing is mainly focused on John 1:10, John 1:29; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Romans 8:1, Romans 8:5, Romans 8:7, Ephesians 4:22

These Scriptures offer several invitations and reminders that can guide us towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

In John 1:29, we are invited to consider the role that Jesus Christ can play in our lives. By recognising Jesus as the "Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world," we open ourselves to the possibility of experiencing forgiveness, grace, and redemption.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 reminds us that we are not merely physical beings but also have an inner life that requires attention and care. It encourages us to seek holistic well-being and by doing so, we can cultivate a more fulfilling and meaningful existence.

Romans 8:1 provides a powerful reminder that our salvation comes not through our own efforts or merits, but through the grace of God. This truth should encourage us to live a life of righteousness, motivated by a desire to please God, rather than out of obligation or fear.

Romans 8:5 reminds us that our thoughts and desires shape our actions and behaviours. Therefore, we should seek to cultivate a mindset that is focused on the things of God and guided by the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:7 serves as a warning to those who may be hostile towards God and encourages us to seek God's wisdom and guidance rather than relying on our own understanding.

Finally, Ephesians 4:22 reminds us that we are called to be transformed by the renewing of our minds and to live a life that reflects on the truth.

Taken together, these passages remind us of the importance of recognizing and accepting Jesus as the Lamb of God who takes away our sins. We should allow Him to transform every aspect of our being, our spirit, soul, and body, through sanctification. This will enable us to live a life free from condemnation and in accordance with God's will. We should put off our old selves and adopt the new self that is created in the likeness of God, continually setting our minds on the things of the Spirit, not on the things of the flesh. In doing so, we will be able to please God and live a fulfilling life that brings glory.

Highlights from the sermon

  • "The spirit grasps what the flesh cannot."
  • "Choosing carnality for the sake of freedom is a compromise too great."
  • "God shields us not from growth, but from stagnation, by allowing challenges to arise."
  • "Like a baby in the womb, one's dreams and aspirations require time and darkness to develop."
  • "The corrupt soul can twist the words of the Bible to its own liking."
  • "Carnality creates a chasm between the mind of the spirit and the mind of the soul."
  • "Many speak not what the spirit says, but what they wish to hear."
  • "To avoid scrutiny, shun greatness."
  • "Judgmental people lack self-awareness and deflect onto others."

PROPHETIC CELEBRATION| 23-03-2023

You’re welcome to our new edition of the word named “Prophetic Celebration”! Today’s briefing is mainly focused on the following Scriptures: Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:7, and Job 32:8.

Genesis Chapter 1 verse 27 states that God created humans in His own image, both male and female. This affirms the inherent dignity and worth of every human being, regardless of gender or any other characteristic. It also suggests that human beings have a special relationship with God, reflecting His character and qualities.

Genesis Chapter 2 verse 7 describes the physical creation of the first human being, who was formed out of the dust of the ground and given life by God's breath. This verse emphasizes the importance of both the physical and spiritual aspects of human nature. It also highlights our dependence on God for our very existence and the intimate relationship we have with Him as our Creator.

Job Chapter 32 verse 8 suggests that true wisdom and understanding come from the Holy Spirit, which is the breath of the Almighty. This verse emphasizes the importance of spiritual insight and divine inspiration in our search for knowledge and understanding. It also suggests that the source of all wisdom is God Himself.

Taken together, these three verses present a powerful and comprehensive view of humanity. They affirm our inherent dignity and worth as creations of God and highlight the importance of both our physical and spiritual nature. They also emphasize the importance of seeking wisdom and understanding through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, do not devalue yourself! You are precious and made wonderfully. I condemn every voice of inferiority in your life and pray for self-value for you. Beloved, you are blessed and highly favoured!

Highlights from the sermon

  • The concept of dominion inspires mankind to unleash the full potential of their God-given strength.
  • The human spirit wields a limited version of God's power.
  • True frustration is having the tools to help but no task to fulfill.
  • Without knowledge of the blessed, struggles will persist.
  • One may resemble another, but each person is unique.
  • In order to offer something of value, one must first understand what is needed

COVENANT INVOCATION| 16-03-2023

You’re welcome to our routine Covenant Invocation briefing! Today’s briefing is mainly based on Hebrews Chapter 5:12, Hebrews Chapter 6, and Second Kings Chapter 5.

Hebrews 5:12 expresses disappointment that followers of Christ have not progressed as much as they should have in their spiritual journey. Many Christians are still in need of basic teachings, and this verse emphasizes the importance of spiritual growth and maturity in the Christian faith.

Hebrews 6 builds on this theme by warning against the dangers of falling away from the faith. We need to press on towards maturity by observing the importance of perseverance and diligence in the pursuit of spiritual growth.

2 Kings 5:20 is a story of Gehazi, the servant of Elisha, who succumbed to greed and lied to Naaman, a foreigner who had been healed of leprosy by Elisha. Gehazi's actions brought a curse upon himself and his descendants. This verse highlights the dangers of giving in to temptation and the consequences of dishonesty.

When we consider these three passages together, we can see a common theme of the importance of spiritual growth and the dangers of complacency, falling away from the faith, and giving in to temptation. They also emphasize the importance of honesty, integrity, and diligence in our pursuit of spiritual growth. The stories in 2 Kings 5 and Hebrews 6 warn us of the consequences of our actions and encourage us to persevere in our journey of faith. In Hebrews 5:12, we are reminded of the importance of continually seeking to deepen our understanding of the faith and to move beyond the basics. Collectively, these passages emphasize the importance of spiritual growth and the potential pitfalls that we may face along the way.

May you continue to grow in the Spirit. God bless you!

Highlights from the sermon

  • Maturity in God is known by the quality of life in the Spirit. In other words, quality of life in the Spirit reveals one's maturity in God.
  • Maturity in God does not come by duration. Thus, maturity in God is not solely determined by the length of time spent in the church.

COVENANT INVOCATION| 16-02-2023

You’re welcome to our routine Covenant Invocation briefing! Today’s briefing is based on Genesis Chapter 26.

Genesis Chapter 26 shows us a picture of Isaac's life, including his successes and failures. We see that he is a man who is willing to follow God's direction, but who also makes mistakes and has flaws. Despite his weaknesses, he is blessed by God and becomes prosperous. The chapter also highlights the importance of honesty and perseverance and shows that these qualities can lead to success.

The Chapter offers several valuable lessons summarised as follows:

  1. It is important to trust in God's promises: When Isaac faced famine, he was tempted to go down to Egypt for food and shelter. However, God appeared to him and told him to stay in the land of Gerar. Isaac trusted in God's promises and obeyed, even though it may not have been the most logical or convenient choice.
  2. Perseverance and hard work can lead to success, even when there are obstacles to overcome. Isaac encountered obstacles when he tried to dig wells for water in Gerar. The Philistines made it difficult for Isaac to find water. However, Isaac persisted and eventually found a well that the Philistines did not contest. This well became a source of water and blessing for Isaac.
  3. Good character leads to respect. Despite Isaac's initial deception, Abimelech and his advisor, Phicol, sought out Isaac to make a treaty with him. They recognized that God was with Isaac and that he was a person of good character. This shows that being faithful to God and displaying good character traits such as honesty and perseverance can lead to respect and admiration from others.

In Genesis 26:23, there are still important lessons that can be drawn. The verse suggests that Isaac was on the move, which is a reminder that we need to keep moving forward in life. We also learned that patience pays off. In the preceding verses, Isaac experienced some setbacks and conflicts, but he persevered and ultimately found success. This is a reminder that we should not give up in the face of adversity, but rather remain patient and trust that things will work out in the end.

Last but not least, Beersheba was a significant place and a reminder that places can hold significant meaning and can be important for us to connect with our destiny. Isaac's journey was not just a physical one, but a spiritual one as well. This is a reminder that faith can be an important factor in our journeys, helping us to stay focused and motivated even when things get difficult.

May you find success in your perseverance just like Isaac. God bless you!

Highlights from the sermon

  • Capacities are not the same!
  • There is no movement without friction. Remember, smooth seas do not make skillful sailors.
  • Contentions are part of life. When there are no challenges in life, there are no opportunities for growth.
  • When God appears, there is illumination!
  • There is a part of you that is stopping you from becoming what God destined you to be. It makes you comfortable in your current state. In other words, the greatest obstacle to achieving your destiny is often not external, but the limitations you place upon yourself.
  • When you find purpose, rest becomes too expensive.
  • Many a time, hatred will usher you into your destiny. Sometimes the greatest catalyst for reaching your destiny is not love, but the burning desire to prove your doubters wrong.

COVENANT INVOCATION| 9-02-2023

You’re welcome to our routine Covenant Invocation briefing! Today’s briefing is based on the Book of Joel Chapter 2 and 2 Corinthians Chapter 3:

Blow the trumpet in Zion,
And sound an alarm in My holy mountain!
Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble;
For the day of the Lord is coming,
For it is at hand:

Joel Chapter 2 calls for repentance and restoration in the face of impending judgment. The Chapter is a wake-up call for people to turn from their sins and return to God. The fasting and repentance called for in the chapter is a reminder for people to humble themselves before God and seek His forgiveness.

The outpouring of the Spirit of God described in the chapter is a sign of the renewal and restoration that can come through repenting and turning back to God. Repentance empowers us to live righteously and to prophesy or share God’s message with others.

The "Day of the Lord" described in the chapter is a mark of God's judgment and the end of the world as we know it. However, it is also seen as a promise of redemption and a new beginning for God's people.

Beloved, we need to be reminded about the importance of repentance, especially in the face of difficulties in our lives. It is a call for us to seek God's forgiveness and to renew our relationship with Him, so that we can experience His glory on the day of reckoning.

God bless you!

Highlights from the sermon

  • The blessings of God are freely accessible, but many are struggling to get them.
  • You cannot avoid discipleship and expect leadership.
  • We were all created in the image of God but not all of us have the likeness of God
  • True power doesn’t destroy, it preserves and builds.

COVENANT INVOCATION| 19-01-2023

It’s another powerful episode of our routine Covenant Invocation briefing! The briefing is based on last Sunday’s sermon and the supporting Scriptures are Isaiah 43:10 and Isaiah 43:1:

Isaiah 43:10

“You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he.”
Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. I, even I, am the Lord,
and apart from me there is no saviour. I have revealed and saved and proclaimed —
I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses, declares the Lord, “that I am God.”
(NKJV)

These Scriptures look simplistic but are pregnant with powerful mysteries. Isaiah 43:10 didn’t suggest that you are invited to become a witness of God. It emphatically declared that “you are God’s witness!”  This implies that once we decide to serve the Lord, we become His witnesses. May you continue to stand as a witness to the supernatural power and existence of God!

Another interesting point from this Scripture was the statement that “before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me”. This Scripture begs the question “Was there a time when God did not exist? Or will there be a time when God will not exist? The answer is certainly No! The scripture was speaking in the context of man and not God as man is bound by time, but God is not.

Remember that we continue to be witnesses of God. He has revealed the future to us and given us promises which continue to manifest. For instance, He promised to rescue the Israelites from their afflictions in Egypt and it happened many hundreds of years after the promise. Therefore, we need to stand firm as witnesses of the prophecies of God, about His goodness, His salvation, and His miracles. God bless you!

Highlights from the sermon

  • There is no absence of good without bad and there is no absence of bad without good. It is the presence of life that makes death possible. When there is no life, there is no death.
  • It is one thing to know about God and another thing to be eternally affiliated to God through revelation
  • What sets you apart is your uniqueness. Even children from the same parents carry their own special DNA designed by the Creator
  • Revelation brings light and when light shines forth, darkness vanishes
  • If your god cannot do with what you have, then you haven’t met God yet. God is always ready to embrace you
  • Sometimes, the things we try to run away from are actually orchestrated by God to lead us to a higher ground. What used to be a disturbance of your peace of mind, will be the same reason for your celebration
  • You can grow into purpose but not out of purpose. The problem with you is you are trying to run away from you.

COVENANT INVOCATION| 22-12-2022

It’s another powerful episode of our routine Covenant Invocation briefing! Today’s briefing is based on the following Scriptures: Psalm 31:19, Romans 8:27-28, and Psalm 119:6.

Psalm 31:19-20:

19Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You
In the presence of the sons of men!
20 You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence
From the plots of man;
You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion
From the strife of tongues. (NKJV)

These Scriptures demonstrate that there is goodness stored for those who fear and trust in God. The word ‘fear’ in this context refers to giving ‘reverence to God’ rather than threats of danger or harm. As we fear the Lord and trust in Him, His goodness in our lives will never diminish. This doesn’t imply that we will never face tribulations or troubles, but even in our afflictions, His mercies and goodness will abound in the end.

While one can argue that God’s provision of goodness is for everyone, we’ve learned from these Scriptures that God has a special blessing of goodness stockpiled for those who fear and trust in Him. This kind of goodness is immeasurable and extends far beyond our needs. It abounds in time regardless of whether we are experiencing affliction or happiness. It intercedes for us whenever we are in trouble.

May we develop the wisdom to fear and trust in God and certainly benefit from His goodness!

May we taste His infinite kindness!

You are blessed and favoured!

Highlights from the sermon

  • Many people can live for God but cannot die for Him @!
  • Goodness is not merely about happiness or when everything is going well.
  • The greatest opportunity to demonstrate our faith in God is when things are not working well.
  • God often uses our worse situations to bring out the best in us.
  • Until you stop focusing on your troubles and look at the bigger picture, you will not appreciate God.
  • Sometimes, the only way to experience supernatural growth and development is by walking through tribulations. In Psalm 119 affliction was described as good and this doesn’t make sense to the ordinary man.
  • When all seems to have failed that is when God shows up!

COVENANT INVOCATION| 15-12-2022

Welcome back beloved to our routine Covenant Invocation briefing! As the year is gradually ending, today’s briefing focuses on “our thanksgiving to God Almighty” and is backed by the following Scriptures: Psalm 46:1-6, Psalm 104:1, and Hebrews 1:14.

We understand from these Scriptures that God has been our refuge and strength throughout the year. Many of us have gone through a lot but are still alive and surviving with the help of God. In essence, let’s give thanks to God regardless of our circumstances. Once we have life, God can change any bad situation in a split second. Many a time, we take God’s blessings for granted because of some life difficulties but we need a renewed mind as the Lord has done a lot for us. Remember! Many started the year with us but are no more and therefore let’s be grateful for at least our ‘divine selection or protection’ to live.

As the year is ending, may you receive an ultimate miracle!

May the good Lord continue to protect you!

May He continue to shine His face upon you!

May God present Himself to rescue you whenever you face any trouble.

Beloved, you are blessed and highly favoured!

Highlights from the sermon

  • Many a time, we take God’s gifts for granted
  • The renewal of our minds can help us to see the invisible move of God that has a profound change and impact on our lives in the visible world
  • The fact that we are in the same environment doesn’t mean we have the same problem. May God help us in our troubles.

COVENANT INVOCATION| 4-12-2022

Welcome back beloved to our routine Covenant Invocation briefing!  Today’s briefing is drawn from Sunday’s sermon which was mainly focused on 1 Kings 10:1

10 Now when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, she came to test him with hard questions. 2 She came to Jerusalem with a very great retinue, with camels that bore spices, very much gold, and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about all that was in her heart. So Solomon answered all her questions; there was nothing so difficult for the king that he could not explain it to her. 4 And when the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon, the house that he had built, 5 the food on his table, the seating of his servants, the service of his waiters and their apparel, his cupbearers, and his entryway by which he went up to the house of the Lord, there was no more spirit in her. 6 Then she said to the king: “It was a true report which I heard in my own land about your words and your wisdom. However I did not believe the words until I came and saw with my own eyes; and indeed, the half was not told me. Your wisdom and prosperity exceed the fame of which I heard. 8 Happy are your men and happy are these your servants, who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom! Blessed be the Lord your God, who delighted in you, setting you on the throne of Israel! Because the Lord has loved Israel forever, therefore He made you king, to do justice and righteousness.” (NKJV)

While others were hearing, the Queen of Sheba saw!

The Queen of Sheba, who had heard about Solomon, his wisdom, and his relationship with God, visited him and asked questions. She arrived in Jerusalem with a group of advisors and goods. When she finally spoke to Solomon, she asked him questions she thought were hard but Solomon answered all of them without difficulty.

She was so impressed and said she didn't believe what they told her about Solomon's accomplishments and wisdom, but they didn't even tell half of it.

A few points to note in this Scripture.

First, hearing of Solomon’s wisdom and impact attracted the Queen to visit. What impact are you making that attracts others to come and witness? May you receive the Supernatural power of God that can enable you to attract people of power and influence to come and also witness.

Second, some will come to test you in this journey of life but you will need the spirit of wisdom to discern and to make your testers rather testify to the Supernatural power of God in your life.

Another lesson was that the Queen of Sheba did not just listen to Solomon’s wisdom, she saw Solomon’s wisdom and that is a typical example of spiritual discernment. We need to ask for grace to see when wisdom, opportunities, and blessings are talking. Many listen to wisdom but we need the power of God to help us see wisdom and more importantly get closer to it! God bless you!

Highlights from the sermon

  • Solomon spoke but the Queen saw instead of hearing and that is a supernatural sight!
  • Wisdom can be seen!
  • Some valleys are closer to the heavens than mountains!

COVENANT INVOCATION| 3-11-2022

Welcome beloved to our routine Covenant Invocation sermon.  Today’s sermon covers Acts Chapter 10.

1There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment, a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms generously to the people and prayed to God always. 3 About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, “Cornelius!” 4 And when he observed him, he was afraid, and said, “What is it, lord?” So, he said to him, “Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God. Now send men to Joppa and send for Simon whose surname is Peter. 6 He is lodging with Simon, a tanner, whose house is by the sea. He will tell you what you must do.” 7 And when the angel who spoke to him had departed, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier from among those who waited on him continually. 8 So when he had explained all these things to them, he sent them to Joppa.

Two key lessons can be drawn from this Scripture. First, prayer and charity can give you a memorial in the Heavens. A person who constantly prays and offers alms to those in need not only receives attention from the Heavens, but his or her actions serve as a constant reminder to God. Beloved, this Scripture shows the importance of continuous prayer and alms-giving if we want to be constantly remembered in Heaven.

Second, we learned that God is not “discriminatory” or “respecter of persons” as He allows everyone to receive His blessings available through Him. God’s engagement with Cornelius demonstrates that being Jewish or Gentile does not matter in the salvation business of God as Cornelius' friends and family also received the Holy Spirit while Peter was ministering.

Wherever you are, or whoever you are, please take the opportunity to come to God, pray constantly, and give alms and you will be constantly be remembered in the Heavens!

Highlights from the sermon

  • Your maturity in God is not determined by age but your dedication and response to the word of God
  • Don’t block you from experiencing the supernatural!
  • Our greatest hindrance is sometimes what we see.
  • The things you regard as challenges are the very things that will open new doors.
  • Christianity is about building trust and faith in God
  • Many a time we speak by faith, but maturity speaks by knowing
  • What sharpens your discernment is not wishful thinking, but being a student of God’s word and practising it
  • Discernment is the activation of the gathered knowledge through Scripture
  • God will not require from you what He has not empowered you to do

COVENANT INVOCATION| 16-10-2022

Welcome back beloved to our routine Covenant Invocation Sermon!  Today’s sermon covers multiple sources including 1 Samuel 9:17, 26. Ezekiel 28:12, Hebrews 12:18, and Matthew 18:18-20.

Samuel 9:17, 26.

17 So when Samuel saw Saul, the Lord said to him, “There he is, the man of whom I spoke to you. This one shall reign over My people.” 18 Then Saul drew near to Samuel in the gate, and said, “Please tell me, where is the seer’s house?” They arose early; and it was about the dawning of the day that Samuel called to Saul on the top of the house, saying, “Get up, that I may send you on your way.” And Saul arose, and both of them went outside, he and Samuel. (NKJV)

Ezekiel 28:12

12 “Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord God:

“You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond,
Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created. (NKJV)

Hebrews 12:18

18 For you have not come to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest, 19 and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore. 20 (For they could not endure what was commanded: “And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned or shot with an arrow.” 21 And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.”) (NKJV)

Matthew 18:18-20

18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

19 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” (NKJV)

Generally, we learned that there is a spiritual elevation ordained for us. However, to access this elevation, we need to put in the effort. Similar to the practical experience of climbing a mountain, the process of elevation will be taxing but we need to continue climbing. While our efforts will be needed to climb, we need to, more importantly, trust in the voice and Spirit of God and walk in His promises. As demonstrated in the New Testament, the mountain is no longer a place but the person, Jesus. When you access Jesus on His terms and not at your convenience you will climb to the top of the Mountain. May God give us the strength to keep climbing to the top of the Mountain!

Highlights from the sermon

  • Until you climb to the top of the mountain, you cannot see what God wants you to see
  • Some blessings cannot be accessed in a valley. You need to go to the top of the mountain
  • It is difficult to deliver someone from ignorance
  • Depending on your own understanding of life can be an ‘ignorant’ force that blocks your ability to climb to the top of the mountain
  • One of the disservices you can give to yourself is to think you know

COVENANT INVOCATION| 09-10-2022

Welcome back beloved to our routine Covenant Invocation sermon!  Today’s sermon is drawn from Sunday’s Edition of the Apostolic Conference. It is based on 2 Kings 4:1-7.

4 A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.”

2 So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”

3 Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbours—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. 4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels and set aside the full ones.”

5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. 6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.”

And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So, the oil ceased. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”

We learned two key points from this Scripture. First, we need to set parameters for the heavens to respond. The woman in the Scripture set parameters through the description of her situation. Second, we need to take action. The woman took important steps before experiencing the supernatural. The Scripture says she ‘cried out to Elisha’. Beloved, have you cried out or prayed to God concerning your troubles and tribulations? The woman understood that the situation was beyond her ability and therefore approached a ‘superior’ authority. The woman’s action demonstrates that supernatural results require the calling of divinity through obedience and service. Until we serve someone, our own purpose, or a course, we may not meet the criteria to witness the supernatural. Beloved, what have you been called to do? What services have you invested in the Lord and your own calling?

Importantly, let’s also not forget that the woman and her husband feared the Lord. The fear of God and not just a mere belief in God is key to our supernatural breakthrough.

Last but not least, the woman already had a substance in her possession when Elisha asked. She only needed to borrow vessels and not the substance. This means that the main ‘point of contact’ for her miracle was already with her. Beloved in the Lord, what do you already have for God to multiply? Remember that she did not borrow what was multiplied but only what can contain her blessings. This implies that we need to build our capacity through our service to God in order for us to experience divine increase. Without building our capacity, it will be hard for us to contain our miracles. May the Lord strengthen us to build our own capacity as He delivers a miracle in our lives!

Highlights from the sermon

  • Supernatural results are simply the outcomes of the miracle of God infused with human action!
  • Every blessing that has been released is for the taking!
  • You can’t order what is already in order. God will surely make our moves right when we take action!
  • We have to graduate from believing in God to behaving in God!
  • Many have not discovered their true course because they don’t serve!
  • The difference between believing in God and fearing God is ‘action’. Even demons believe in God but a person who fears the Lord is obedient to His Word
  • Every blessing that divinity will use is within us. Your blessings are waiting for your manifestations

COVENANT INVOCATION| 06-10-2022

Welcome beloved to our Covenant Invocation sermon!  Today’s sermon is mainly based on Psalm 100:4; Psalm 66:13; Exodus 3:1-22; and Luke 13:1-35

Let’s start with the question: do you have a personal space for God in your life? In these Scriptures, we learned about the importance of creating space for God. As demonstrated in the story of Moses and the ‘burning bush’, we need to make space for all possibilities in our walk with God, and importantly, pay attention to God’s presence. Many a time, our space might be narrow as shown in the book of Luke Chapter 13 but we still need to make the most out of our limited space and time. We need to enter the ‘narrow gate’! Entering the narrow gate might require some form of strife and struggle but we need to still make a way through it as there will come a time the opportunity to make it through the narrow gate will be no more.

Beloved, making time and space for God in our lives is vital for our own supernatural growth and we can do that through our devotion to Him. We need to also be reminded of worldly distractions when making time and space for God in our lives. I pray that you will find the strength to create enough space and time for God in your life in order for you to witness the Supernatural power of God.

Highlights from the sermon

  • If your mind doesn’t find space for God, you will never find Him.
  • Distractions can hide the visible
  • Gates of opportunity are seasonal
  • At times, we are limited by what we see more than what we don’t see!

COVENANT INVOCATION| 14-08-2022

Welcome, beloved! The theme for this week’s covenant invocation sermon by Rev. Patrice Amoaye is “You cannot stop the rain, but you can do something to stop it from falling on you”. The sermon was mainly based on Ephesians 6:10-18.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which, you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. (NKJV)

We learned from this Scripture that evil is real and that anything that happens to us physically was pre-conceived spiritually. Unfortunately, we cannot stop the schemes of the enemy as the enemy is mandated to steal, to kill, and to destroy. However, when we use the right approach, no weapon formed against us by the enemy will ever prosper. Sadly, many of us believers exert our energies on trying to stop the enemy from attacking instead of arming ourselves. We often fight with the wrong weapons because we don’t understand the nature of the battle before us. For instance, instead of attacking a physical person (e.g., a sister, a brother or a neighbour) for a spiritual cause, we need to spend prayer time against that which was orchestrated in the spirit. As demonstrated in 2 Corinthians 10-4, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. We need to play in an “offensive position” by praying without ceasing rather than waiting for evil to happen to us before attempting to pray. Once evil starts manifesting in the physical, it is often too late to handle. Remember, in Matthew 13:24, Jesus spoke about the importance of staying awake as the enemy will often attack while we are sleeping. Henceforth, I urge all of us to pray without ceasing and be offensive in prayer rather than defensive. May the good Lord protect us from the weapons of the enemy!

Highlights from the sermon

  • Anything that occurs in the physical was first conceived in the spiritual. A physical manifestation of something is not the genesis of that thing.
  • Our enemies are often not the physical beings around us but the territorial powers manipulating things that occur in the physical.
  • When we start praying after spiritual things have manifested, it is often a lost battle. We must start praying while the enemy is scheming for evil.
  • When you play defensive, it means the enemy has already entered your territory, we need to play offensive to prevent the enemy from entering in the first place.
  • The world disempowers us so that they can profit from us! Your self-worth is not in the opinion of others! You are good enough!

COVENANT INVOCATION| 24-07-2022

Welcome, beloved! This week’s covenant invocation sermon was mainly focused on Ruth 4:13-17:

So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife; and when he went in to her, the Lord gave her conception, and she bore a son. 14 Then the women said to Naomi, “Blessed be the Lord, who has not left you this day without a close relative; and may his name be famous in Israel! 15 And may he be to you a restorer of life and a nourisher of your old age; for your daughter-in-law, who loves you, who is better to you than seven sons, has borne him.” 16 Then Naomi took the child and laid him on her bosom, and became a nurse to him. 17 Also the neighbor women gave him a name, saying, “There is a son born to Naomi.” And they called his name Obed. He is the father of Jesse, the father of David. (NKJV)

We learned from this Scripture that it was the duty of Boaz to take Ruth as his wife and it was the duty of Ruth to become a wife to Boaz. This Scripture teaches that we have an obligation to start what we are purposed to do and divinity, in turn, has the duty to increase what we start. In other words, for God’s promises to manifest in our lives, we need to ‘action’ that which God has promised. When you buy a new sim card for your phone, you still need to activate it with a code to be able to start receiving calls. In the same vein, when we receive a “Word” from God, we need to take steps to activate the Word as a Word we do not ‘act on’ will not be increased by God. For example, you can receive a revelation from God that you will become a physician. It doesn’t mean you will become a physician the next day by magic. You need to apply for a physician program from an authorized institution, enrol in a physicians’ course, and learn about the work of a physician for the revelation to manifest. The revelation alone will not make you a physician. The revelation creates the atmosphere for divine favour to locate you but work is still needed to accomplish that which has been revealed. May you gain the strength to activate every blessing revealed to you in Jesus’s name!

Highlights from the sermon

  • You can be taken and still not become what you are supposed to become.
  • God conceals a matter and kings have to search for the meaning of the matter.
  • Never approach God with a complaint of ‘without’. Don’t use what you don’t have to delay what God has promised.
  • If you don’t take the required actions, your conception of greatness will never happen.
  • Every great success started with a risk factor
  • Don’t be too concerned about how long you will live, but be concerned about the legacy you will leave behind. Jesus said it is finished in just 3 years! Note, He never said “I am finished”
  • The earth is open to receive the commands of the sons of God so that the glory of God will be manifested.
  • When understanding is granted, precision is possible

COVENANT INVOCATION| 17-07-2022

Welcome back, beloved! We had an outstandingly powerful Power Conference the previous week and I encourage you to watch the episodes on God’s Power Ministries’ website if you missed out and you will surely be blessed.

This week, we are resuming our covenant invocation sermon, starting with a “Word” in

1 Timothy 1:18:

18 This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare. (NKJV)

In this Scripture, we learned that Christianity including general life is a warfare and Timothy was being charged by Paul to wage a good war. Beloved, the moment you are born on this earth or become born again, a battle begins and this battle is beyond the physical. Please be informed that being a ‘good’ Christian will not exempt you from this war. Christians are likely to face many troubles and tribulations as we chart good courses. Remember that Paul himself had several challenges in his life but was still encouraging Timothy to charge on. Beyond the common livelihood battles everyone fights, including non-Christians, Paul was specifically charging Timothy to continue to have faith in God, profess the Scripture, and live by the word of God including prophetic declarations made on him.

Beloved, the good news is that a Christian’s warfare is a good warfare and will surely be rewarded. The Scripture in Revelation 21:4 declares that God will wipe every tear from our eyes, and there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.  Let’s charge on, let’s never lose faith, let’s diligently execute the purpose of our calling, and God will surely reward us. God bless!

Highlights from the sermon

  • The grace of God does not exempt you from the wars in life but rather empowers you
  • It’s an error to open doors for people when they are not ready to excel
  • Your elevation by God begins with responsibilities
  • Wherever the voice of the King is, there is power!
  • If you don’t win the battle within, you’ve already lost because your strength starts from within
  • If the enemy wants to destroy you, He causes you to fight against you. In other words, he attacks your faith and causes you to doubt the truth!
  • You cannot demand from others what you’ve been wired to do

COVENANT INVOCATION| 26-06-2022

Beloved, as we draw closer to our annual Power Conference which is starting in a few days, I’m excited to bring to you a reflection of the covenant invocation sermon preached by me (Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye) on Sunday. The sermon was mainly based on John 17:1, Matthew 9:6, and Acts 1:8.

John 17:1:

1 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. (NKJV)

In these Scriptures, we learned that we’ve been authorised by the word of God spoken through Jesus Himself to empower and release one another from the bondage of iniquities, troubles, and tribulations and to draw everyone to the eternal grace of God. However, the authority given to us is only a “potential power” until we activate it through work or action.

Beloved, we have a Supernatural grace to bring the lost to Jesus and to transform them through His Supernatural power if only we can action our divine knowledge.

We need to however understand that the divine power of God must be used cautiously and within the BIG picture of God’s plan. Remember, Jesus, with all His power and authority over every living and non-living being worked within the timeline and plan of the Father. We need wisdom and strength to control ourselves and to work NOT within the expectations of the people surrounding us but within the expectations of God. May the Supernatural authority and power of God in your life be revealed and actioned according to His will and plan.

Highlights from the sermon

  • Knowledge is potential power and can be powerful through action
  • Dominion is inherent within insights and power
  • If you think knowledge is expensive, try ignorance. Often, what you don’t know is what can easily harm you
  • After knowing, you must have the power to execute
  • The true benefit of believing a word is actioning what you believe

COVENANT INVOCATION| 19-06-2022

Welcome, beloved! This week’s covenant invocation sermon was mainly focused on John 14:19-24:

19 “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words, and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me. (NKJV)

In these Scriptures, we learned that Jesus prepared His disciples for His departure by assuring them that He would always be with them. He revealed that if anyone truly loved Him, the person will obey His commandments and He will in turn manifest Himself to the person. Notably, this Scripture demonstrates that His manifestation is a gift for those who abide by His Word and not for everyone in the world. He loves everyone but many in the world do not love Him back. Many have turned away from His Word and are living self-serving lives.

Beloved, are you keeping the commandments of Jesus? Remember, Jesus dwells in those who truly abide by His Word. It will therefore be rare for non-believers and those who do not abide by His commandments to witness His glory and manifestation. Beloved, come to Jesus now, believe and abide by His Word and you will witness His glorious manifestation.

May the grace of God help us to abide by His Word!

Highlights from the sermon

  • The voice of God is noise to many in the ‘world’ and the noise of the world is rather a voice to them. Beloved, is the voice of God noise to you?
  • When we receive Jesus, we receive Grace. Nothing can satisfy us like Him
  • God wants to dwell in us and us in Him. Discover Him in your soul!
  • Your greatest enemy could be you as ‘sinful’ things may have taken the place of God in your life
  • Sometimes, prayer can simply answer what advice cannot do
  • You can’t do the right thing with the wrong motive
  • You cannot benefit from the Grace you’ve rejected
  • When God starts breaking down your ‘idols’, don’t build them up!

COVENANT INVOCATION| 12-06-2022

It’s another thrilling moment of the covenant invocation sermon. Today’s sermon was delivered by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye and was mainly based on Judges 11:1-11 and 29

11 Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valor, but he was the son of a harlot; and Gilead begot Jephthah. Gilead’s wife bore sons; and when his wife’s sons grew up, they drove Jephthah out, and said to him, “You shall have no inheritance in our father’s house, for you are the son of another woman.” Then Jephthah fled from his brothers and dwelt in the land of Tob; and worthless men banded together with Jephthah and went out raiding with him. (NKJV)

29 Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jephthah, and he passed through Gilead and Manasseh, and passed through Mizpah of Gilead; and from Mizpah of Gilead he advanced toward the people of Ammon. 30 And Jephthah made a vow to the Lord, and said, “If You will indeed deliver the people of Ammon into my hands, 31 then it will be that whatever comes out of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the people of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord’s, and I will offer it up as a burnt offering.” (NKJV)

In these Scriptures, we learned that Jephthah faced a big challenge and he thought he could better his chances by bargaining with God. He vowed to sacrifice whoever first came out of his door to greet him and he eventually met his only daughter. Although it was a painful experience for him, he carried through on his promise just like Hannah did in the case of Samuel.

Beloved, my question to you is: have you ever bargained with God? Have you ever promised to do something for God if He helped you overcome a challenge? This question might seem unrelated to you but many of us have actually bargained with God through speech and in our hearts and yet do not fulfill our part of the deal. Think about the promises you made to God before getting that visa, before getting that scholarship, before getting married, before having that child, before gaining school admission, before finishing school, before getting a job, or before getting healed. Have you fulfilled your promise to God?

We bargain with God during difficult times of need and many dangerously forget about fulfilling their promise when the Lord accomplishes His part of the bargain. Beloved, be watchful of your promises to God. While bargaining with God is a sign of faith and strength, when we do not fulfill our promises, they turn into negative omen in our lives. Before you bargain with God to obtain something, be sure of fulfilling your part of the promise, else it is better not to bargain. Let’s maintain integrity in every dealing with God so that the good Lord will continue to bless us! God bless you!

Highlights from the sermon

  • The best time to show loyalty is when the person in question has nothing
  • Your greatness does not lie in the material things you have but in how many people you empower to become what God destined them to be
  • God commands us to love but does not command us to trust. Loving someone is a must but trust must be earned
  • A lot of people don’t believe in making things for themselves but rather believe in inheriting things for themselves. Believe in making things!
  • Some people only associate with you because you are relevant today but will disassociate themselves from you when your relevance exists no more. Never take for granted people who are loyal to you no matter the circumstances
  • There are often two sets of people: the first set will hurt you and own up to it, but the other group will hurt you and pretend to be victims. Learn to take ownership and apologize when you hurt someone
  • Anyone who left you when you needed them most had never been there for you

COVENANT INVOCATION| 05-06-2022

Welcome, beloved to an amazing moment of the covenant invocation sermon by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye. Today’s sermon mainly focuses on John 4:46-54.

46 So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. 47 When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Him and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. 48 Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.”

49 The nobleman said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies!”

50 Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So, the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. 51 And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, “Your son lives!”

52 Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” 53 So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” And he himself believed, and his whole household.

54 This again is the second sign Jesus did when He had come out of Judea into Galilee. (NKJV)

In this Scripture, Jesus demonstrated to us the importance of having faith. He understood that until people see signs and wonders, they won’t believe in His Word, and He indirectly advised that we need to have faith in His word even if we have not yet witnessed the Supernatural. The question is ‘do you believe in His word?’.

When you observe this Scripture, you would realise that Jesus did not follow the man but just spoke the word. In the man’s mind, Jesus had to be physically present in order to heal his son, but the power of God is beyond “the physical”. It is also obvious that Jesus did not perform the miracle to give glory to Himself, satisfy the man’s desire or just demonstrate His power to the people present. He did the miracle to strengthen the man’s faith, and, in the end, the man’s entire household believed in Him.

This Scripture, importantly, teaches us that our faith is needed to see the Supernatural power of God in our lives. The man with his little faith accepted what Jesus had told him and set out for home and that was faith. When he learned of the time and circumstances of his son’s healing, he came to a complete belief, along with his household.

We also learned that the man had heard of Jesus but had never had an interaction with Him until the incident happened. Unfortunately, many people in the world today wait until crisis or times of trouble before running to Jesus. Beloved, please come to Jesus now, have faith in His Word, and receive His Supernatural gift of signs and wonders. God bless!

Highlights from the sermon

  • Being born again does not mean that we are immune to the works of the enemy. By destroying the works of the enemy in our lives, God reminds us that His power endures
  • Every miracle God does for us is not just for our own sake but to build our faith in Him. Remember, Lazarus still died after Christ resurrected him

COVENANT INVOCATION| 29-05-2022

Welcome, beloved to another exciting moment of the covenant invocation sermon. Today’s sermon was delivered by Rev. Patrice Amoaye and was based on John 1.

In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. (NKJV)

Beloved, the foundation of our faith is the word of God represented by Jesus. God spoke His Word and the power in the word created everything. There was nothing created without His word. The word of God is life, and it is steadfast. Everything in this world can change but the word of God remains the same. The problem of the world today is not a lack of access to His word, but a lack of relationship with His word.

What then should we do with the word of God? David said, “Your Word have I hidden in my heart so that I do not sin against you.” David understood his limitations and prayed that the word of God would remain in his heart to avoid contamination from the world.

Beloved, the word of God must direct our paths. Our paths are set before us. We have different paths but the same way and the way is through Jesus.

The word of God is light. It brings clarity to our paths. It reveals to us unseen things. Remember, what is unseen doesn’t necessarily mean it doesn’t exist. In life, there is the seen and the unseen. So, we need to pray for illumination every day of our lives. We sometimes make wrong choices because we are moved by circumstances rather than by revelation. However, what we see can be misleading and the enemy often distracts us through our sights. We need to have insights to see beyond our circumstances.

Beloved, the word of God is also a weapon. It will not prevent tribulations, but it is the weapon to get us to the other side. It helps us withstand the contrary winds in life.

We must allow the word of God to transform us. Until the word transforms us through rebukes, it will not elevate us. This is because when the word of God is released, it requires our transformation to help us reach a higher level.  Oftentimes, this may include tests and tribulations. Sometimes God does not lift us out of tribulations but gives us the grace to go through them as He knows we will be better off once we go through them. Always remember that embedded in the word of God is the power to elevate you!

Highlights from the sermon

  • Everything we need is in the word of God
  • What we do with the word of God determines what the word does for us. Not because the word doesn’t have enough power, but it requires our transformation to elevate us
  • Before God says something, He has already done it. He finishes from the beginning
  • Your purpose gives birth to you. Your purpose is predestined, and you are birthed to fulfill it
  • Your state of tribulation is only a temporary chapter of your life. Many of us give up in the middle of our life chapters. Never give up!
  • No matter how long the night is, the morning will surely come
  • Anything worthy requires a lot of sacrifices
  • What you focus on, you become!
  • A contaminated word is ineffective

COVENANT INVOCATION| 22-05-2022

It’s another exciting moment of the covenant invocation sermon by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye. Today’s sermon mainly focuses on Ephesians 5:18-2.

18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, 19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, 20 giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, 21 submitting to one another in the fear of God. (NKJV)

This scripture reveals the importance of demonstrating a responsible life as a Christian and allowing the Spirit of God to take dominion over every aspect of our lives. The scripture also challenges us to be in the Spirit by singing spiritual songs, hymns, and psalms. Why does singing such songs matter? Firstly, the spiritual words in songs have unique ways of connecting with our spirits. Secondly, singing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs strengthens our obedience to God’s word. When we sing, we become connected to the word of God and our melody has the power to build ourselves up, especially in our down times. When we congregate and sing a spiritual song, we connect with the Supernatural and blessings are bound to follow.

Do you remember the story of Paul and Silas when they were put in prison?  The book of Acts informs us that about midnight they prayed and sang hymns to God, and suddenly there was a violent earthquake that shook the foundations of the prison. Beloved, songs and prayer can shake the foundations of our problems and uproot them if we believe. Singing spiritual songs can see us through difficult or trial times. Songs can also trigger memories and help us to glorify God for what He has done for us.

To this end, let us not be consumed with wine but let us be filled with the Holy Spirit so that we may manifest the glory of God. Additionally, let us keep singing spiritual songs particularly psalms and hymns during our tribulations and with faith the problems we are facing shall vanish! God bless!

Highlights from the sermon

  • You are a fruit to your parents but a seed to your children
  • Our definition of blessings and God’s definition are not the same. Sometimes, the hand of God takes you to the valleys before raising you up to the mountains
  • If you are oblivious to what has been ordained in the Supernatural, your prophetic destiny can be compromised
  • God’s promise over your life may look impossible considering your current reality. How could Abraham become the father of many nations when Sarah was too old for childbirth?
  • Everyone can bring you closer to God, but no one can replace God in your life
  • What you cannot win with argument, you can decree into alignment with prayer and spiritual songs

COVENANT INVOCATION| 15-05-2022

Welcome, beloved to another thrilling moment of the covenant invocation sermon by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye. Today’s sermon revolves around the theme of “creating a prophetic stronghold within the purposes of God”. The word was based on Ephesians Chapter 1, Chapter 2, and Chapter 5 verses 8 and 15.

The Apostle Paul in these Scriptures reveals some secrets about salvation. Paul explains that  although human efforts and goodness are great, they are not enough when it comes to salvation. In Chapter 2, Paul demonstrates that people who are not believers of Christ are spiritually dead by sin and anyone dead by sin automatically belongs to Satan. He likens sin to death and explains that a man who is a slave to sin has no appeal for spiritual life and growth. However, Paul indicates that a repented sinner through grace becomes a living soul and emphasized that the mercies of God are abundant for all those who believe in Christ Jesus.

In Ephesians 5:8, we learned that “ For we were once darkness, but now we are light in the Lord and walk as children of light”. This scripture shows that our sins must be stopped once we come to Christ. Those who are carried by the lusts of the flesh and the lusts of this world lose the grace and glory of God in their lives and are at risk of the wrath of God. As believers of Christ, we need to work on our own salvation and call on those living in the lust of this world, to rise, so that they may see light in Christ Jesus.

Highlights from the sermon

  • The one who owns you determines your steps
  • You cannot live in the Lord when the Lord is not in you. And to be in the Lord is to abide by His word
  • Don’t allow power to get you drunk with corruption
  • Don’t wait to get what others have before you worship God

MOTHERS DAY SERVICE| 08-05-2022

Greetings, beloved! We welcome you to our Mothers Day Sermon by Rev. Patrice Amoaye. It was a great opportunity to celebrate our wonderful mothers on Sunday and we continue to pray for all mothers and potential mothers and ask for God’s blessings in their lives. The sermon was based on the theme “Supernatural and Focused Woman” and the referenced scripture was Isaiah 43:19:

19 Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert. (NKJV)

Beloved, we must embrace the Supernatural. A Supernatural individual has both insight and foresight. Insight brings a dimension of understanding that helps us rise above every limitation in life whereas foresight brings the future to the present. When you have foresight, you can invest in your tomorrow from now. Beloved, if you know where God is taking you, you will start preparing yourself not for the present but the future.

It is important to understand that a Supernatural person has the right perspective of life. To develop the right perspective of life, we must tap into the “unseen”. A Supernatural person can tap into the unseen through the power of discernment which is the ability to capture a hidden reality. We must discern every atmosphere around us and be driven by the unseen. The supernatural person perceives beyond the realms of the physical and allows possibilities through the supernatural. Beloved, never allow what is seen today, particularly troubles and tribulations undermine the possibility of seeing the unseen reserved for us for tomorrow. For joy shall surely come in the morning…

How do we then embrace the Supernatural? We must accept the word of God and abide by it. As believers, we must expose ourselves to the word and live by it. Remember that without the word of God, the world of gods will crush us. Stay blessed!

Highlights from the sermon

  • We need to focus on our focus
  • The unseen drives and determines the seen
  • If we don’t live by the word (Scripture), we will die by the world
  • Repetition of the word should not diminish the word of God but rather build the word of God in us
  • When we despise the process allowed by God, we disqualify ourselves from the promise of God

covenant Invocation| 01-05-2022

It’s another exciting moment of the covenant invocation sermon by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye. Today’s sermon is based on Ezekiel 24:15.

15 Also the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 16 “Son of man, behold, I take away from you the desire of your eyes with one stroke; yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, nor shall your tears run down. 17 Sigh in silence, make no mourning for the dead; bind your turban on your head, and put your sandals on your feet; do not cover your lips, and do not eat man’s bread of sorrow.”

In this scripture, the Lord told Ezekiel that his wife was about to die. The Lord instructed the prophet not to mourn openly when the wife dies, contrary to the customs of the land. He was not allowed to mourn as a form of demonstration to his fellow Israelites that they were not supposed to mourn over Jerusalem when it was destroyed. When Ezekiel’s wife died, Ezekiel obeyed the Lord’s instructions.

Beloved, this scripture demonstrates that walking with God does not always happen on a smooth course. It can be costly and difficult sometimes. Imagine! If this had happened in these modern times, what would people have done? Many people would have turned away from God and questioned His love for us. Many would have questioned how a ‘loving’ God would have allowed Ezekiel’s wife to die rather than saving her. Beloved, God’s wisdom is beyond anything we can imagine. We shouldn’t assume that Ezekiel loved his wife more than God did. Remember! God sacrificed His only son for us but in the end, salvation was established for humankind.

This scripture informs us that doing great things for the Lord requires sacrifice but through our sacrifices, God will restore onto us greater things than before. Do you remember the story of Job? Although Job lost everything, in the end, he gained everything back in many folds. What have you lost while serving the Lord?  Is it your work, time, friend, or money? As the Lord restored and multiplied Job’s blessings, may He restore anything you have lost while serving him. God bless!

Highlights from the sermon

  • Some revelations from God require sacrifice and volunteering.
  • God never promised that there won’t be challenges, in spite of the challenges, He will always be with us
  • God often uses ‘broken people’ to fix brokenness!
  • Let’s be careful of judging others and pointing fingers at people. If we are not careful, we will victimise victims!
  • The favour of God can do what work cannot do

covenant Invocation| 24-04-2022

Greetings, beloved! We welcome you to another episode of the covenant invocation sermon by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye. Today’s sermon is based on 2 Kings 7:1...

1 Then Elisha said, “Hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord: ‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.’ ”

So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said, “Look, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?”

And he said, “In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”(NKJV)

This scripture reminds us of the dangers of unbelief. Many people intellectualise spiritual things with their carnal minds and end up missing out on God’s blessings. When Elisha, the Prophet of the Most High God declared that food will be available the next day while the Israelites were experiencing severe famine and hunger, the prophecy seemed impossible to happen in just a few hours. An officer of the King even challenged the prophecy and questioned Elisha based on his own ‘logic’. Due to his unbelief, he saw the food the next day but could not partake of its consumption just as Elisha had declared.

Beloved, is anything too hard for God? What problem are you facing that makes you think it is all lost despite God’s promise? How long have you wailed in your troubles? This word of God reminds us that many a time, God shows up when all our hopes and strengths are gone. We need to keep believing in His word even when all the odds are against it. Remember, unbelief displeases God and I urge you to believe in His word so that His promises shall come to pass just as He had declared through His servant. In this scripture, the needs of Israel were supplied overnight in a way they never imagined and that is what makes God who He is. This scripture should encourage us to put our hopes in God’s promises as His word will never fail. May God give us the faith to keep believing in His word!

Highlights from the sermon

  • God never promised that there won’t be problems, but despite all the problems, His promises will come to pass
  • Your glory does not lie in the number of enemies you have destroyed but in the number of people you have empowered
  • When you behave like your enemies, you justify their stance
  • In life, it is not just about what you do, but the spirit with which you do what you do. Not all seemingly good gestures are for your benefit, some are for the givers' own self-interest
  • God can turn your bad situation around overnight. Just believe!
  • Sometimes, it’s not about just believing what was said, but believing in who said what was said
  • When you face real problems, all the pretenders vanish except those who really care
  • Don’t allow anybody to use logic and carnality to negate your faith
  • We are doing great not because we are great but because we have chosen to believe in the Great one

POWER OF THE CROSS SERMON| 17-04-2022

Season’s Greetings, beloved! We welcome you to the Power of the Cross sermon by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye. Today’s sermon is based on the book of 1 Corinthians 15:1

15 Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand,

by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.

After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep.

After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles.

Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time. (NKJV)

Beloved, do you know that many people do not believe in the resurrection of Christ? Some think that it is illogical for a human to die and rise again. Interestingly, the same people believe in the germination (resurrection) of a seed after it has been sown. Before a seed germinates, it needs to first rot in the soil and then rise again a few days later. Beloved, in the same vein, the resurrection of Christ is real and it cannot be understood with a carnal mind. It is the foundation of our faith in Christ Jesus and without it, the Gospel will be in vain.

It is important to recognise that the resurrection of Christ was witnessed by over 500 people including the Apostles of Christ. It doesn’t make sense for the disciples of Christ to lay down their lives for Christ after His death if they had not truly seen Him resurrected. Witnessing the resurrection power of Jesus empowered His disciples to continue propagating the word even after He had gone. We need to hand down the narrative of Christ’s resurrection to our children and the new generation.

Remember! Paul himself did not believe in Christ initially and thought that condemning the Christians was the right thing to do. He tried to destroy God’s church until he encountered Christ on his way to Damascus. Paul’s relentless belief in Jesus after his encounter is grounded in the power of knowing that Christ was truly resurrected after death. Paul also confirmed that believing in the resurrection of Christ is a supernatural grace that is uncommon to common people and that provoked his hard work towards the spreading of the Gospel as he declared in verse 10: But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain, but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. (NKJV)

Let’s remember that what you reject in your mind cannot be seen with the eyes. Believe in the resurrection power of Christ and gain access to the grace of rising after death!

Highlights from the sermon

  • The resurrection of Christ manifested physically for ordinary eyes to see. Christ’s resurrection was witnessed not only by the 12 but by over 500 people.
  • The resurrection of Christ does not make sense to carnal minds.
  • There wouldn’t have been any good reason to continue preaching the Gospel of Christ if the disciples of Christ did not witness His resurrection.
  • Resurrection is the real deal as the disciples were ready to die for Christ knowing that when they die they will rise again.
  • What is limiting you from accepting the power of Christ’s resurrection is the limitation of your mind.
  • There is no greatness without service. We need to continue spreading the good news about Christ’s resurrection power.

covenant Invocation| 10-04-2022

Season’s greetings beloved! It’s another interesting episode of the covenant invocation sermon by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye. Today’s episode is a continuation of what we learned last week in the book of Luke 10:1. Verse number 17 contains interesting lessons that we can discuss:

17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” 18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” (NKJV)

Beloved, there is a divine assignment given to us by God. It doesn’t matter where you are located or where you come from. For God speaks in a universal language. However, every assignment has a special number of people called to execute it. Remember! He called 70 and at some point, He called only 12. This is part of God’s eternal wisdom. Their goal was to go to places to preach the Gospel and to bring people to Christ. Beloved, my question to you is what is your assignment on earth?

When the disciples returned, they told Jesus in a joyful surprise that even the demons bowed to them by the use of His name and Jesus confirmed their victory by indicating the fall of Satan. And He gave them the power to trample on “serpents and scorpions”! This means that every true believer of Christ who has been given an assignment has the authority to overcome the works of demons and powers through the mention of the name “Jesus!” Beloved! The name of Jesus has authority over all powers and forces. Today, the name is frequently used in vain and we often forget how powerful His name is. By believing and praying in Jesus’s name we invoke His power and authority to overcome strongholds, demons, and problems. May demons, afflictions, and every evil yoke break by the mention of His name!

Let’s however remember that the most important of all our assignments is to see our names written in the book of life which is the ultimate gift from God. While doing His work, we need to also remember to keep His commandments and abide by them. May our names be written in the book of life so that all our works shall not be in vain!

Highlights from the sermon

  • All you see is not all there is!
  • In these last days, God has appointed us and given us the power to represent His interest and destroy the works of the enemy.
  • Before Jesus came to this world, there was a need for John the Baptist to prepare His way. In the same vein, in His second coming, you and I have been appointed to go to the world to preach and prepare His way. That is our divine assignment!
  • While we do the work of God, let’s not forget that one of the greatest weapons of the enemy is deception. It is possible for demons and powers to bow before you and yet you lose your place in the book of life.
  • Our interest should not be in what God gives or can give us but our interest should be in loving God Himself

covenant Invocation| 03-04-2022

Hello beloved! You are warmly welcome to another special edition of the covenant invocation sermon by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye. Today’s mind-blowing sermon is focused on the theme “kingdom influence”. Illustrations were used in the sermon (please see a link to the video below) and the main reference scripture was Luke 10:1:

10 After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go. Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves. Carry neither money bag, knapsack, nor sandals; and greet no one along the road. But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ (NKJV)

Several things come to mind when reading this scripture. Firstly, this scripture unveils an assignment Jesus gave to His disciples and that raises the question - How does it apply to us today? This scripture is an example of the ministry and assignment Jesus has given us as Christians which is to spread His message or the good news to the world. In this scripture, Jesus appointed 70 people and sent them ahead to places. Another question is what does the term ‘every city and place’ mean or represent in this scripture? Just as God saw a nation in Abraham, He was sending them to people who represent cities, towns, villages, and so forth.  God has appointed us to share His word with all communities on earth and represent His interests. ‘Place’ in this modern context can also include our workplaces, our neighbourhoods, marketplaces, correction centres, schools, and so forth.

The scripture also declares that the “harvest is great but the labourers are few”. This is so true today as many people have not heard of the word of God or have heard of it but do not take it seriously. Many even have strange views about Christianity without engaging what Christianity really represents. Today, church attendance is reducing all over the world and many people do not ascribe to Christian values or beliefs. This reflects the point that there is much evangelism work to do as Christians but only a few people are engaging in it.

Importantly, Jesus cautioned His disciples to expect resistance and rejection as they spread His word. Today, many Christians are being persecuted for their faith just as Jesus had told His disciples. Must we then stop spreading the word? Certainly not! May God grant us strength and wisdom to proclaim the Gospel to the world!

Highlights from the sermon

  • Jesus wants to be in the centre of our world in order to bring true influence wherever He sends us.
  • If you don’t know what you’re called to do, you wouldn’t know whether you have done it well or not
  • God’s blessings may sometimes seem like punishment
  • Many have a public image of success but are ‘broken’ privately

covenant Invocation| 27-03-2022

You are warmly welcome to another special edition of the covenant invocation sermon by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye. The core part of this sermon is based on Rev 1:1, 4 and 9

1The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants - which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne,

I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. (NKJV)

Revelation Chapter 1 exposes events that will happen in the end times and particularly how Jesus was unveiled to John. We need to understand the role of Jesus in our lives by asking the question - Who is Jesus? Jesus is the Word and the Word reveals our purpose and our purpose gives us a vision and our vision in turn helps us set an agenda in life. Remember, all things were made by the Word and outside of the Word, there is nothing! In totality, Scripture ascribes power and glory to Jesus as the Word and the Saviour of the world.

It is important to learn that we will face tribulations in life in the pursuit of our divine mandates and that is also part of Christianity. Life will be tough sometimes but in these troubling times, we need to turn to Jesus who has gifted us the Holy Spirit as our divine Helper. In every moment of our tribulations, we need to always remember to count on the Holy Spirit. May we continue to walk with the Holy Spirit throughout our time on earth.

Highlights from the sermon

  • The raw material to make all things is the material called ‘nothing’
  • Your value is based on how much others paid for you
  • When you know where you are going, when you get to where you are not going, you will know that you are not there yet
  • Without vision, everywhere you get is somewhere
  • Your vision is your future or your destination

covenant Invocation| 20-03-2022

It’s another great episode of the covenant invocation sermon by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye. Today’s episode started with the rhetorical question: What do you really want?

We learned that our ‘wants’ might not align with what God wants for us. Let’s always keep in mind that God’s desire to bless us far outweighs our desire to be blessed but His ways might not be our ways and His plans might not be our plans.

The sermon was based on the theme “self-assessment” and the main Scripture was taken from 2 Corinthians 13:5:

Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified. But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified. (NKJV)

This scripture demonstrates the need for us to assess our own lives as we walk with Christ. This involves assessing ourselves honestly to learn whether we are true believers of Christ and whether He truly lives in us. Remember! Something can live inside you and still remain unrecognised. People may judge us only by what they see but the absence of external evidence does not deny the internal presence of God in us. So, how do we make the very important self-assessment?

Firstly, there are certain proofs that we cannot take for granted. For instance, when our internal instincts speak to us about God’s existence and presence, that’s an important sign that He is with us. Additionally, Christ’s existence in us can be demonstrated by the nature of our conduct. Our loving and caring attitude towards one another and our strong faith in God are indications of God’s presence in us.

In all these, let’s remember to avoid speaking against the move and will of God as that can disqualify us from accommodating His presence in us.  Therefore, believers must be watchful of taking differing positions against the word and position of God.

Part of the sermon was also based on Jeremiah 17:19,  1 John 1:8, and Revelation 3:14

Highlights from the sermon

  • The mere fact that a tree cannot be seen doesn’t mean a seed hasn’t been planted
  • God’s agenda to bless us far outweighs our desire to be blessed
  • God’s assessment is often different from human assessment
  • What might be important to us, might not be important to God, especially, if it doesn’t align with the purpose of our being

covenant Invocation| 13-03-2022

Welcome, beloved to another powerful episode of the covenant invocation sermon by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye. Today’s sermon is mainly based on Ephesians 6:17:

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel (NKJV)

The core focus of this sermon is that we need to pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit! After describing the armor of God, Paul highlighted the importance of prayer in our lives. We need to understand that prayer connects us to the Supernatural power of God. When praying, it is important to do so in “the Spirit” by submitting our thoughts to the will of God. While praying in the Spirit, there is also the need to work towards Spiritual Growth. To achieve all these, we need to be accustomed to continuous prayer and supplication.

We’ve learned the importance of praying with understanding and with our spirit. Let’s not forget that prayer gives us the divine strength to contend with the enemy who has existed from the beginning and knows more than us. Through prayer, we can obtain divine intelligence to recognise the schemes of the enemy.

Jesus mentioned a number of principles of prayer and highlighted that before we begin to pray, we need to establish a relationship with ‘God, our Father’ who art in Heaven. Heaven in this context is the summation of the Supernatural where God dwells and prayer is the vehicle that connects us with God in the Supernatural world.

Jesus also mentioned the importance of being delivered from ‘evil’. One of the misinterpretations of ‘evil’ is to liken evil to the devil in a person form with horns and a tail. Evil comes in many forms that we may not even recognise. Deliverance from evil embodies issues, such as the enemy tricking us to lose our purpose in life or blinding us from the reason for our being. If you do not know the reason for your being, you are likely to think that a ‘wrong’ turn is the ‘right’ way to go. Beloved! Always remember that the enemy will constantly attack our purpose and reason for our being.

One of the spiritual principles that need to be learned in prayer is avoiding strife. The enemy can introduce people in our lives to just inject strife into us. Such people unknowingly or knowingly undermine our thinking to reject what is good. To avoid such situations, we need to learn to believe and confide in God in our struggles. Remember that there is a level of weight needed to fly high, and there is another level of weight that grinds us. Strife is the kind of weight that grinds us but if we continue to trust in God and with continuous prayer we shall overcome the schemes of the enemy.

The sermon also captured key lessons in Proverbs 6:16-19:

16 These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17 A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren (NKJV)

We’ve learned the need to be watchful of these things that are detestable to God as well as those that He dislikes for us to inherit the Supernatural…

Highlights from the sermon

  • There are mysteries of the Gospel
  • God shows up when you least expect
  • God is always on time
  • God’s manifestations come in packages we least expect
  • Prayer unveils us to understand that not all that we see is what there is
  • Our enemies are often those we work for and protect their interests
  • One of the schemes of the enemy is unhealthy competition.

BABY DEDICATION SERMON| 06-03-2022

Welcome, beloved! This week’s sermon was ministered by Pastor Chris and the theme is “a healthy Christian home”. The sermon was based on three Scriptures:

Proverbs 24:4:

By knowledge, the rooms are filled
With all precious and pleasant riches (NKJV)

Hebrews 13:4:

Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled, but fornicators and adulterers God will judge. (NKJV)

Titus 2:

But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. (NKJV)

We learned that a Christian home is not ordinary. For the home to be healthy, we need to take the word of God seriously. When we live according to the word of God, He will show up amid our troubles.

We also understood in the sermon that we need to build honesty in our marriages and promote strong integrity. This includes speaking the truth to each other. In marriage, we must learn to build trust. We must work to attain the level of trust and truth where negative information from external people about our partners will be interpreted as false and ignored as we know our partners in and out.

As couples, we need to build walls around our marriages through prayer and work to prevent the enemy from penetrating our homes. Couples need to also understand that there is no perfection in us and that we unite to complement each other’s weaknesses.

We should be mindful of our words to each other especially when we are angered. Remember that words thrown out cannot be erased and can have a long-lasting impact on our relationships.

As couples, we are also mandated by the word of God to look after our children as a team. Importantly, we must learn to raise our children together in the word of God. Let’s keep in mind that when we raise our children properly in the Lord, they will grow and never depart from it as noted in Scripture.

Lastly, let’s always note that every marriage is unique and therefore we must avoid unnecessary comparisons. When we serve God together as a couple and from our hearts, He will bless our marriages and keep us strong and healthy!

Highlights from the sermon

  • A good marriage isn’t something you find; it is something you make
  • Your words become the house you live in
  • Falling in love is easy but staying in love is the challenge
  • By the service of someone, you were saved

covenant Invocation| 27-02-2022

Welcome, beloved to another wonderful episode of the covenant invocation sermon with Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye!

Last week, we learned that to walk in the Spirit, our real identity must align with the identity of God Almighty. If we believe in Him, He will give us the power to become His children.

This week, the sermon was focused on prayer. We learned in the sermon that prayer is key in every believer’s life. The book of Ephesians 6:12 clearly states that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

In the book of Acts 3:1, Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. In every hour of prayer, there are two things we must remember:  1) we need love, and 2) we need faith! We cannot kneel before our Maker without love for one another and without a strong conviction that our prayer will be answered. Peter, in the context of Acts 3 represents ‘faith’, and John in the same context represents ‘love’.

Jesus taught us several prerequisites of prayer. Firstly, He taught us to pray indoors or in other words to pray in private as our prayer is not meant for men. In other contexts, He said that His temple should be a place of prayer. This means that although prayer should be private, in some contexts, it can be done publicly just as we do in the church. In our private homes, when we pray, we chase a thousand but in the church, we chase tens of thousands due to the strength of our collective prayer. One of the unique features of Jesus is that the things He teaches can create tension in understanding if we fail to comprehend the context.

Secondly, Jesus also taught us that before we pray, we need to establish a relationship with God or our Father in heaven. Although our Father is in heaven, He has a meeting place on earth and that includes the church. May our homes become a meeting place of divinity!

Furthermore, Jesus said we should pray without ceasing. We need to pray daily. Our candle of prayer should never be quenched. Sadly, many Christian believers pray only when they are in trouble whereas people of other faiths, such as Muslims, pray all the time. We need to change our attitude towards prayer and make prayer part of our daily life.

Remember that in this contemporary world, prayer can reduce you to the ridicule of carnal people, but the same people will witness your testimony just like the case of Hannah.

Highlights from the sermon

  • If you embrace the mysteries of prayer, your ordinary life will become an extraordinary life
  • He who kneels before His majesty shall walk boldly on their feet in daylight
  • What you do in the secret place (prayer room) in the night will determine the mysteries and mandates you carry in the morning.
  • For God to be a God of all flesh, He must have a common language and one of His common languages is visions and dreams
  • The mystery of prayer is that you must understand the mystery of love
  • The proof of love is the investment of time
  • Prayer is a spiritual vehicle and the weapon of a believer
  • Every liberation comes with responsibility
  • When you are suffering, you don’t see many friends, but when your suffering changes to glory, everyone seems to love you
  • Don’t allow others to hide their children and make a meal out of yours

covenant Invocation| 20-02-2022

Welcome, beloved to another interesting episode of the covenant invocation sermon! This week’s sermon covered the theme “prioritising your thinking” or “kingdom thoughts”

The sermon was focused on Matthew 6:33:

33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (NKJV)

The Scripture makes us understand that seeking the kingdom of God first should be the priority of humankind. If we are prioritising the Kingdom of God, then we need to begin to identify the thoughts of God and store them in the ‘womb’ of our minds. This is because the womb naturally grows things and therefore planting the values and thoughts of God in our minds’ womb will trigger spiritual growth.

In verse 25, we are informed not to worry about the future. We sometimes worry about the future because our minds ignite fear instead of faith. Therefore preparing our minds to accept positivity is important for spiritual growth and success. Let’s not forget that our minds control all aspect of our being hence needs to be occupied by positive thoughts.

Philippians 4:6 further teaches us to be anxious for nothing. When we are anxious in life, we create opportunities for errors via wrong thoughts. Let’s remember that God sometimes places us in the mix of questions because we are the answer to those questions. Therefore, we need not worry about tribulations but rather understand why we face certain challenges.

 Interesting highlights from the sermon

  • The spiritual container has a chamber and a womb. They are similar but different in several spheres
  • Thinking Kingdom thoughts include being professional within the dictates of God’s values
  • Our heart is a chamber, and our mind is a womb
  • With the wrong thinking, we can live in heaven and suffer hell
  • Our life is not a mere product of our environment
  • Sometimes, we need to be delivered from us and not the devil
  • When we forget Kingdom matters, a hill will look like a mountain to us

covenant Invocation| 13-02-2022

Welcome, beloved! Today’s covenant invocation sermon is mainly based on 1 Corinthians 3:9...

For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ…

We learned from the whole chapter that we need a vehicle to transform what God has already provided in the spiritual realm into the physical realm. What we see is very important as we can easily access what we can see. But how can we access the invisible? Jesus said unless you are born again you cannot see the Kingdom of God. This perspective may seem to contradict the notion in the Bible that we need to walk by faith and not by sight. Nevertheless, let’s remember that faith gives us an eye that is beyond the ability of our physical or natural sight.

As mentioned in the previous sermon, we need to understand certain principles of the spirit to experience the supernatural:

  • We have to embrace our identity. The first identity we established previously is that we were created in the image of God. So our humanity is premised on the idea that God created us in His image and after His likeness… When man fell, his likeness was lost but the image remains
  • By redemption, we need to understand that we are complete in Christ and this is in line with the principle of predestination. Paul by inspiration explained this in the book of Ephesians. We were predestined to conform to the image of Christ. In that same light, we are complete in Him, Christ Jesus
  • We are connected with Christ in the spirit. Your spirit should not be different from the spirit of Christ as demonstrated in 1 Corinthians 6:17. This can be likened to marriage where the man and the woman are spiritually connected
  • We are fellow workers and we are God’s field. We are God’s building and God’s modern-day tabernacle because He lives and dwells in us
  • Allow your spirit to say no to your flesh. Anytime you say no to the demands of your flesh, you are establishing spiritual dominion as demonstrated in 1 John 2: 15, 16Interesting highlights from the sermon
  • When you embrace Him, it demands the denial of the flesh.
  • The word of God feeds your spirit and not the flesh. When you are well fed in the spirit, you can deny the demands of the flesh
  • God is the only entity that can love the perishing without perishing with the perishing

covenant Invocation| 06-02-2022

Welcome, beloved! Today’s covenant invocation sermon is mainly based on the book of John 3:1.

There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher & comes from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”(NKJV)

We learned from the sermon that Nicodemus came to light under the cover of darkness. His interaction with Jesus suggested that although the Pharisees were publicly working against Jesus, they knew that Jesus was from God. Please note that in verse 2, Nicodemus used the collective term ‘we’ instead of the singular term ‘I’ when confirming that Jesus was a true teacher from God. He also noted that nobody could do what Jesus was doing unless they were from above. This scripture advises us that even our haters may know our true identity as Christians and therefore we shouldn’t be distracted by their open criticisms and questions. We also learned from the scripture that it is important for one to be born again in the Spirit in order to witness the Supernatural as the realm of the Supernatural aligns with spiritual things.

We were also reminded in the sermon that we have a mandate to go into the world to preach the Gospel, educate people, and make disciples of them. To do so, we need to be spiritually inclined. Let’s always remember that carnal-mindedness can lead to death but spiritual-mindedness prepares us for eternal life.

A part of the sermon was also based on Galatians 5 and 1 Corinthians 3:5,16

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

We learned that to walk in the Spirit, we must understand the following:

  • Willingly, accept our identity as demonstrated in the book of Genesis. We must accept that we’re made in the image of God
  • We must also understand that we are complete in Christ as demonstrated in Colossians 2:9. In other words, beliefs that we are incomplete are not from God. We must avoid comparing ourselves to others as we are perfect in our own unique way.

Interesting highlights from the sermon:

  • A lot of people want to access what they have not seen
  • You cannot benefit from what you reject in your mind
  • It takes only those who are born in the Spirit to grow in the Spirit
  • Don’t wait to die before walking in the Spirit because after death there are no opportunities.
  • Today is an opportunity to live a life that captures the thoughts of God and manifests what God wants to do
  • The world of the Supernatural is a world of living an unlimited life
  • Don’t allow the philosophy of men to destroy the revelation of scripture
  • God will never build your life without your cooperation
  • God employs you to help Him build His vision for you

covenant Invocation| 30-01-2022

Welcome once again beloved to another episode of our covenant invocation sermon! The sermon today was administered by Pastor Martha, and it focused mainly on the book of Genesis 1:26:

26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” (NKJV)

We learned that when God created Adam and Eve, they were spiritual beings and their spirituality enabled them to easily interact with God. Immediately they sinned against God, they were exposed to carnality and saw that they were naked. As they began thinking of ‘fleshy’ things, their spirituality depreciated and their interaction with God diminished. The key message from this lesson is that we cannot experience the Supernatural when our thoughts and actions are dictated by carnality.

We also learned that when we become spiritual, we are empowered to rule and dominate over the earth as God instructed in the book of Genesis. In Chapter 5, Enoch was a spiritual man and he walked with God; and through that, he experienced the Supernatural. As humans, we need to ensure that our spirituality is stronger than the demands of our flesh and that can prepare us to receive the Supernatural. In this year of the Supernatural, we must remember that God has given us the power to dominate the earth and we can achieve this by minimizing the demands of our flesh and maximizing the potency of our spirit.

Other important key points were taken from the books of Genesis 5:24; Luke 19:13; and Genesis 3:8. In a nutshell, we learned that carnality cannot comprehend the things of the spirit and for us to encounter the Supernatural, we need to control the demands of our flesh and grow the needs of our spirit…

covenant Invocation| 23-01-2022

Welcome again beloved to another episode of our covenant invocation sermon! The sermon today was focused on the book of Luke 1:67-80

67 Now his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying:

68 “Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people,
69 And has raised up a horn of salvation for us. In the house of His servant David,…

The sermon focused on the story of Zacharias, Elizabeth, and John, especially the birth of John… We learned that God sometimes neutralises our voice so that we can live to witness the accomplishment of His purpose. Zacharias developed doubt about the birth of John and became dumb in the process as proof that God’s word must not be challenged. Even though the appearance of the angel Gabriel frightened Zacharias, he still questioned the words of the angel...

When Elizabeth suggested the name John to the family, the family members challenged her until Zacharias confirmed the name. Here, we learned that many people who have no idea of what is happening to you in private think they are qualified to name your blessings… We need to listen to the voice of God and believe in Him always else we can pay a penalty while His promises come to pass….

Highlights from the sermon:

  • When you don’t know where you are going, every route will take you there!
  • The blesser is the only one who can name it!
  • Many have the right star but the wrong name!
  • Anytime a gift of God is manifested, the visitation of God is there!
  • Life is not a playing ground, it is a battleground. The mere idea that you don’t think evil, doesn’t mean that everyone is like you!

covenant Invocation| 16-01-2022

Welcome to another powerful episode of the covenant invocation sermon by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye!

Today’s sermon was based on Luke 17:11…

11 Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”

14 So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.

15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.

17 So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19 And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.” (NKJV)

What Jesus was indicating is that the kingdom of God has nothing to do with your environment because there will always be the point that the kingdom of God and the kingdom of the devil can seem inter-twined. In other words, what seems to you like the kingdom of God in your mind’s eye can be the kingdom of the devil in reality….

Excerpts of Numbers 12:1 were also referenced in the sermon:

12 Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman. So they said, “Has the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?” And the Lord heard it. (Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth (NKJV)

Remember that God did not address the substantive point of Moses marrying a foreigner which was against the Jewish custom at that time. Although Miriam and Aaron were addressing Moses based on ‘written rules’, God addressed the situation based on ‘unwritten rules’.  This story articulates what we consider as ‘divine prerogative’ for Moses. If you want to fulfill your destiny in life, it is important not to put a premium on what God ignores but rather what God considers the substantive.

Please note: In the Jewish custom at that time, leprosy forced people to forfeit everything they owned, and they were often relocated outside the camp. However, it was in the state of the leprosy of the 10 men that captured the grace of God that people did not even understand. May you receive that form of supernatural prerogative!

Highlights from the sermon:

  • Expectation is the womb of manifestation!
  • Life is not to be understood, life is to be enjoyed and expressed

covenant Invocation| 09-01-2022

Welcome again to the year of the “Supernatural”!

On Sunday 9 January 2022, Pastor Ophias blessed the church with a powerful sermon based on 2 Kings 3:4-26:

Now Mesha king of Moab was a sheepbreeder, and he regularly paid the king of Israel one hundred thousand lambs and the wool of one hundred thousand rams… (NKJV)

In this sermon, we learned that King Jehoram went to Jehoshaphat- King of Judah, saying, “The king of Moab has rebelled against me. Will you go with me to fight against Moab?”. Key lesson: We need to be careful of ungodly people who want to make their enemies our enemies...

Upon seeing the Moabites, King Jehoram thought God had delivered them to their enemies (negative thinking) whereas King Jehoshaphat responded differently and expected the supernatural by asking for the presence of a Prophet (positive thinking). Jehosaphat was looking for solutions whereas King Jehoram was focusing on the problem. In this year, let us think positively and seek the supernatural.....

Highlights from the sermon:

  • When challenges come into our lives, we know that the supernatural is eminent!
  • In this year, we need to take out negativity and focus on positivity!
  • Solutions are in the hands of people who have gone through the wilderness rather than people who have silver spoons in their mouths!

covenant Invocation| 02-01-2022

Happy New Year to you beloved! Welcome to the year of the “Supernatural”!

Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye blessed the church on Sunday 2 January 2022 with a fresh sermon based on 2 Kings 6:17:

17 And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. (NKJV)

The sermon was focused on the importance of our eyes being opened to see the supernatural. Elisha was surrounded by physical forces and their duty was to neutralise the potency of the prophetic. The servant of Elisha saw the physical forces and was trembled as he had no access to the supernatural until his eyes were opened when Elisha prayed.

Excerpts of the sermon were also drawn from Psalm 46:4, 5:

4There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God,

The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved;

God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. (NKJV)

According to the book of Psalm, access to the river spoken of allows us to witness the supernatural. May you receive access to the river to dwell in the supernatural!

Highlights from the sermon:

  • Proximity to Jesus doesn’t necessarily bring transformation, but the Jesus within you
  • The Kingdom of God is not about what the feet can access but what the heart captures
  • Your lack in the realm of the flesh is not the reality in the realm of the spirit
  • Confession of sins transfers us from the kingdom of the visible to the invisible
  • What you see informs you. It is not about what you represent but who you represent…

covenant Invocation| 26-12-2021

Deep quotes from the sermon:

  • A person of faith is someone who understands reality but says to himself or herself that there is a working power behind the scenes that changes reality for our gain.
  • Success is associated with purpose and happiness is also related to purpose. Don’t allow anybody to define your success!

Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye shared another powerful sermon on Sunday 26 December 2021. The sermon was based on the books of Luke and Psalms.

Luke 2:1-30

1 And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered...

30 For my eyes have seen Your salvation (NKJV)

Psalm 91:1, 2 and 14

14 Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;

I will set him on high, because he has known My name. (NKJV)

The sermon focuses on the birth of Jesus and also touches on the story of Simeon. It highlights what was so unique about Simeon that caused his eyes to see the salvation of God…

To God, age is not just about duration because God is eternal. A thousand years seems to Him like a year and vice versa. To God, age is based on the accomplishment of purpose. The fact that Jesus accomplished His purpose at the age of 33 years is a classic example of the fact that age is not just about duration.

One of the strategies of the enemy is undermining the potency of God’s truth. The potency of God’s truth is that we must not be defined by our circumstances. In other words, God’s presence in our lives doesn’t mean that there won’t be problems but God will see us through all tribulations because of His love upon us. In the end, everything will fall in the right place if we trust Him….

covenant Invocation| FAITH TREATIES: LOVE Empowered Faith : part 3 | 19-12-2021

Deep quotes from the sermon:

  • Love is the composition of all the things we want from others that we struggle to give
  • If God’s mind is full of you, then your mind should be full of Him
  • God falls in love with you even at your weakest or ugliest point, but man falls in love with you in your strongest or beautiful state

On Sunday 19 December 2021, Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye shared another powerful sermon on “love empowered faith”. The sermon was based on Psalm 91:1, 2, & 14

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

         2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

         14“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name. (NKJV)

Verse number 14 indicates that because the Psalmist set his love upon God, God promised to deliver him from afflictions and set him on high. This means that we don’t need to necessarily make our love for God perfect, but we need to set our love upon Him to receive His divine deliverance. Everybody wants to be a recipient of kindness, compassion, and love but when we are at the point of showing love to others, matters get complicated. We need to learn to love God and love one another.

Before the earth and heavens were created we existed in Him and He knew that we are imperfect. Remember that we are a product of the mind of God. The secret place of God is in His mind. Therefore, if we become a recipient of the word of God which emanates from His mind, we become a dweller in His secret place.

Covenant Invocation| FAITH TREATIES: LOVE Empowered Faith : part 2 | 12-12-2021

Deep quotes from the sermon:

  • God does not live in eternity, eternity lives in God
  • The true nature of maturity is to use your strength to encourage the weak and not destroy them
  • The enemy can change the approach but the potency of God will never diminish

On Sunday 12 December 2021, Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye shared another powerful sermon on “love empowered faith”. The sermon was based on Psalm 91:1:

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (NKJV)

The first verse of Psalm 91 is a summation of the idea the Psalmist wanted to portray. The fact that God created the heavens and the earth implies that He was dwelling outside the heavens and the earth. So, why did God decide to dwell in the heavens? Humankind was created from an eternal perspective but within time. God is eternal and for Him to dwell in the heavens and rest on the seventh day of creation, He decided to subject Himself to time and human attributes. Remember that one of His attributes is that He never sleeps nor slumbers. Rest was for man and not for God, so for Him to rest on the seventh day, implies that He subjected Himself to the characteristics of humankind. It was at this particular point that God dwelled in time and made the Heavens His dwelling place.

Remember that if God wants to visit a city, He visits a person and the person becomes a conduit for His glory. It was the love of God that called Abraham and made him the father of many nations. From the day of the call, Abraham began to dwell in the shadow of God. When you are under the shadow of the Almighty, God will always provide you an escape point when the enemy wants to devour you because there is a compelling or redemptive love of God upon your life….

Covenant Invocation| FAITH TREATIES: LOVE Empowered Faith | 05-12-2021

Strong quotes from the preaching today:

  • You can honour without worshiping but you cannot worship without honouring.
  • Worship allows the worshipper to embody what is being worshipped
  • To love God is to occupy the fullness of what God has created you to be without apology

Sunday 5 December 2021 saw another cogent sermon delivered by Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye. The sermon was a continuation of the serial conversation on faith treaties. However, the focus this time was on “love empowered faith” and based on Psalm 91:14:

“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;

I will set him on high because he has known My name. (NKJV)

We understood in the sermon that God is God to His creation but God is not God to Himself. We can only engage God through faith because we cannot see God through human senses that are based on the material or physical world. In this material world, God is invisible to us but He is not invisible to Himself and He demands worship from humankind. For Him to be God to Himself, He needs to worship Himself which is not possible as the worshipper is beneath what is being worshipped.

A common language among the Godheads is eternal love. The Father loves the Son and the Son loves the Father, the Father and the Son love the Spirit and the Spirit loves the Father and Son. For the Son to set an example of worship, He lowered Himself and took upon Himself the flesh of man and became like us. As long as He (the Son) was a man on this earth, He was capable of worshiping the Father….

Covenant Invocation| FAITH TREATIES: Vision Empowered Faith-part 3 | 28-11-2021

On 28 November 2021, Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye continued to bless us with a sermon on vision empowered faith. The sermon, which was the third part of the message on faith treaties was based on Joshua 5:1:

“Now when all the Amorite kings west of the Jordan and all the Canaanite kings along the coast heard how the Lord had dried up the Jordan before the Israelites until they had crossed over, their hearts melted in fear and they no longer had the courage to face the Israelites.” (NIV)

*The main focus of the message was drawn from Joshua 5:13:

13 Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?”

14 “Neither,” he replied, “but as commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, “What message does my Lord] have for his servant?”

15 The commander of the Lord’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.   (NIV)

In summary, the sermon continued to discuss the journey of the Israelites from Egypt to the promised land and highlighted the encounters they had with God. Notably, it was underscored in the sermon that Jesus manifested Himself as the commander of the Lord’s army and Joshua worshipped Him. May you have a unique encounter with God that will elevate you from the ordinary to the glory of God!!!

It is important to understand that revelation and spiritual exposure are by divine choice. Your faith can be grounded in the extent to which God has revealed Himself to you. We have learned that God can strip off the faith of others from you as God does not want anybody to become a source of distraction in the growth of your faith. The importance of humility can be understood when God takes away everything and you have nothing but Him. The process can be confusing and often unpleasant. In the end, a divine encounter with God will lead to your vindication and His glorification. Our problem in this generation is that people want great testimonies but not the pain that precedes the testimonies.

Remember that both Moses and Joshua encountered God but He rolled away the reproach of the Israelites through His divine encounter with Joshua. This is because Joshua’s assignment was accomplished. Until you have encountered God and accomplished His works, you will not be in the position to witness all of His glory

7 Strong quotes from the preaching today:

“When you don’t know who you are, you will need somebody’s name to authenticate you” “When I was a boy, I thought you lead on your feet, but when I became a man, I realised you lead on your knees”

“When you encounter God, you become fearless.”

“It is not every feed that leads to good health, some feed leads you to your grave”

“If you do not allow God to circumcise you, the enemy will castrate you.”

“God often chooses people with flaws for His work and His greater glory.”

“Until information becomes a revelation, it cannot become redemption and the endproduct of redemption becomes glorification.”

Covenant Invocation| FAITH TREATIES: Vision Empowered Faith | 21-11-2021

On 21 November 2021, Prophet Richard Owusu Amoaye blessed us with a powerful sermon based on Numbers 13:28:

But the people who live there are powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large. We even saw descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites live in the Negev, the Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country, and the Canaanites live near the sea and along with the Jordan.”

The sermon, in summary, aimed to remind us to fight for the gains of this year (2021) as we anticipate goodness and continue to build our faith to receive the promises of God in the next year (2022). The WORD (Numbers 13) emphasized Caleb’s role in silencing the Israelites when they started doubting God’s promise for them. ‘Everyone needs a Caleb in their lives’ and Caleb’s role in the Scripture can be likened to the role played by a counsellor after a doctor relays unpleasant information to a patient. The doctor needs a counsellor before declaring sensitive results as declaring bad news to a patient can do more harm than the current situation. In the same scenario, everyone needs that special person who will be there in difficult times to remind us of our abilities and continuously support us.

As believers of the Scripture, our assignment is premised on the greater assignment commissioned by Christ Himself! Within Christ’s mission, He has given us HIS GRACE to work within our own scope and to make exploits beyond our skillsets, exposure in life, or educational levels. In our pursuit of HIS assignment in our lives, it is important to concentrate on the positive aspect of things as an experience of negativity is inevitable. Whether we like it or not, we will share space with all kinds of negativity but that should not make us disprove the promises God has for our lives. In the book of Numbers, although the land was seen as good, describing the people badly negated the same goodness that was affirmed earlier. By concentrating on the people, a bad report was given about the same ‘good’ land. We need to concentrate on the promises of the land rather than the weaknesses of the people!

7 Strong quotes from the preaching today:

“To move forward, the first point of discovery is not outside but internal.”

“God expects us to love sinners but does not expect us to love sin.”

“You are a product of power! ‘Nothing exists in nothing!’”

“When God introduces His filter, you will see ugly and still see beauty in the ugliness”

“The reason you get the same results is that you are heading in the same direction!”

“Whatever you emphasize either feeds you or feeds on you!”

“When you emphasize the abilities of God, it feeds your faith and shrinks your difficulties”

tHE EAST-DWELLERS: The tribe of judah

[GENESIS 49:8-12, DEUTERONOMY 33:7]

The renowned tribe of Judah from which kings come was one the three tribes that dwelt in the east when the children of Israel camped around the tabernacle of meeting in the Old Testament. Judah, was a prefigure of the New Testament believers over whom The Lord Jesus rules as the King of kings. Indeed, although the terms “Lord of lords” and “God of gods” appear in the Old Testament, it is in the New Testament that we are introduced to the idea of the King of Kings (1 Timothy 6:15, Revelation 17:14).The east-dwelling children of Judah represent believers with the judicial mandate. They are lions according to the pattern and example of the lion of the tribe of Judah, the Lord Jesus Himself. Lions that feed not on blood but instead satiate themselves with milk - the milk of the word of God. From this milk they develop strength to take responsibility over the earth which the Lord has given to the sons of men. The milk also gives them understanding of the will of God which enables them to make decrees that establish and advance the ways of God.

We can draw our lessons from the tribe Judah from the prophetic declarations that were made over them first by Jacob, then by Moses:

  1. “His eyes are darker than wine,

And his teeth whiter than milk.” [Genesis 49:12]

This was the conclusion of Jacob’s prophecy over Judah. Judah is described as a lion but there is something peculiar about this lion; his teeth are not bloody as one would expect but rather are described as whiter than milk. This is a revelation a spiritual mystery in which Judah feeds on milk which represents the milk of the word of God. As believers after the tribe of Judah, it is necessary that we feed on the milk of the word of God in order to function as the kings we are born again to be. “Why is this important?” One might ask. You see, the throne upon which we sit to function as kings is the same throne that Jesus sits on. Yes, the same throne Jesus sits on and the same that God the Father sits on according to the words of the Lord in Revelation 3:21 “To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne. The throne of God has a foundation of righteousness and justice as written in Psalm 89:14 and this is the reason why its imperative that those who reign as kings in God must feed on the milk of the word for it is only the word that will renew our minds and instil in our hearts the righteousness and justice upon which the throne stands.

  1. “And this he said of Judah:

“Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah,

And bring him to his people;

Let his hands be sufficient for him,

And may You be a help against his enemies.” [Deuteronomy 33:7]

Moses here is prophesying about the realignment of Judah. He speaks of Judah’s unification with his people and petitions the Lord to hear Judah’s voice. Why must Judah’s voice be heard? Because as a king, it is one of his principal functions to make decrees and declarations over the people. In the New Testament, Jesus is King over us as kings and as he sits on the right hand of the throne of God we are positioned in Him. From this position we draw our power from the throne of God to function in a judicial capacity that enforces his will on earth.

“God reigns over the nations;

God sits on His holy throne.” [Psalm 47:8]

As we conclude, we see from this scripture that God is the one Sovereign who reigns over the nations. So if we are to reign as kings on earth as declared by Revelation 5:10 we can only do so as representatives of the Ultimate Sovereign. When Paul and John referred to Jesus as the King of kings they were not referring to man-made kingdoms but rather to us who sit with Christ in heavenly places. May we boldly occupy our royal places in Christ, learn righteousness and justice from the milk of the Word and establish decrees and declarations that enforce the will of our God on earth. Take up the judicial mandate of the east-dwelling tribe of Judah.

Amen.

tHE EAST-DWELLERS: The zebuluns

[GENESIS 49:13, DEUTERONOMY 33:18-19]

Zebulun was one of the three tribes that dwelt in the east when the children of Israel camped around the tabernacle of meeting in the Old Testament. The prophetic destiny of this tribe can be understood through the blessings that were pronounced on Zebulun by the patriarch Jacob and later, Moses the servant of God. Jacob said, “Zebulun shall dwell by the haven of the sea; he shall become a haven for ships (Genesis 49:13). This indicated that Zebulun’s role in the destiny of the nation of Israel was to be the gateway to the Gentile world. These are the east-dwellers who are the link to the world. Moses shed more light on this out-reaching nature of the Zebuluns in saying “Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out.” (Deuteronomy 33:18). Lets learn from the Zebuluns - the east-dwellers who function as the extension of the church: going out to the market-places, industries and all sectors of our world.

Zebulun was the sixth son of his mother Leah which calls to mind the strength of man. Further, the name itself means “my husband shall dwell with me”. From this we see that Zebulun’s name and order of birth depict the strength of man that is able to dwell but still have a far-reaching influence. The systems of Zebulun make it possible to sit in one geographical location and have access to the whole world. Its interesting that although Jacob said Zebulun shall dwell by the haven of the sea, when the land of Israel was allocated by Joshua, the land of Zebulun was not close to the sea. So the idea was beyond the physical, it was spiritual designation given to these east-dwellers to be the merchants who engage the world by industry and work and become a bridge between the community of saints and the world at large.

In Deutoronomy 33:18, Moses instructs Zebulun to rejoice in his going out - not to allow the burden of their work to depress him but rather to rejoice. As we take after the nature of the Zebuluns, we must understand that our work is our worship and we must rejoice in it because if joy is found lacking from our worship it will not be acceptable before God. We also see in the same blessing that Moses paired this tribe together with the children of Issachar - they work in partnership. As the Zebuluns go out to engage the world, they are inspired by the children of Issachar and given insight on how to navigate the terrain without compromising the values and principles of God.

The Zebuluns do not go out to engage the world just for material gain. On the contrary, they go out to “call the peoples to the mountain” (verse 19). Their demeanour, posture and the lifestyle they model at the market-place, in universities and workplaces is such that they become living epistles. They may not talk about love but they communicate love through every touch. They hate sin but they don’t allow that hatred to cause them to be judgemental but rather they become committed to sinners and their salvation so that through them, the power of sin may be broken. The Zebuluns do not merchandise just for profit but they are engaged to facilitate a greater dimension of divine presence in every sphere of life. May the east-dwellers of Zebulun arise among the children of God, engage the world and facilitate the next wave of revival in our boardrooms, hospitals, universities and industries. The Zebuluns will cause the streams of connectivity to flow from the church and into all sectors of our communities.

Amen.

tHE EAST-DWELLERS: TORCHBEARERS

[JUDGES 4:1-10, 5:1-15, PSALM 119:103]

The fourth of the Judges of Israel whose exploits were detailed in the book of Judges was Deborah, the wife of Lapidoth, a prophetess from the tribe of Issachar. The idea of Judges in Israel did not start in the book of Judges however, but rather its seed was sown by Moses in Exodus 18. When Jethro asked Moses why the people stood before him from morning until evening, he replied in verse 15 saying “Because the people come to inquire of God.” Thus we see that the purpose of the Judges was for the people of God to have a way of inquiring from God. The same word inquire was also used when Rebecca “inquired” of God concerning the striving of the twins she was carrying in her womb. These judges were not there just to settle disputes but to enable people to understand what they carry and who God destined them to be. This is exactly what Deborah did for Barak as she inspired him to save Israel from Jabin and Sisera. As is the nature of the east-dwelling children of Issachar, she manifested as a torch-bearer - someone who leads or inspires others to work towards a valued goal.

In verse 6 of Judges 4, we see Deborah sending for and calling Barak the son of Abinoam and inspiring him with the God-given mandate to wage war against Jabin king of Canaan who had enslaved the children of Israel. Barak means lightning or thunderbolt. So here was a man with the power, concentrated energy and awe-inspiring brightness of lightning but the intimidation of the enemy had neutralised and subdued him into inaction. He didn’t know what he carried and had no idea he had what it takes to secure deliverance for his nation. It took Deborah to discern the greatness in Barak and use the prophetic insight she was blessed with as a daughter of Issachar to lead others to discover who God destined them to be.

It is interesting to learn that the word Deborah, has the same root word from which we get the word for ‘bee’ in the Hebrew. We get honey from bees and we understand from scripture that honey represents the word of God (Ezekiel 3:3, Revelation 10:10). The chapter that celebrates the word of God - Psalm 119 says in verse 103 “How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” The torchbearers like Deborah have the prophetic word of God in the mouth. This honey of the Word imparts strength and energises those who carry the seed of greatness like Barak to take up their God-given mandate and become who God destined them to be. Indeed, when God created each person he had purpose on his mind and its manifestation on earth requires the torch-bearers to come into agreement with heaven and establish the intent of God as they make decrees that the earth can hear.

As you adopt the virtues of the east-dwellers, rise up as a torch-bearer in your family and in your community. The Deborahs must arise because the Baraks can only arise when the Deborahs have arisen to light their fire. There are many Baraks around us and if those who are spiritually minded can take up this responsibility, their prayers will cause them to rise up. In many instances, the difference between an uninspiring existence and living an impactful life according to who God created one to be is an encounter with a torchbearer. May you arise in your consciousness and become that torch-bearer!

Amen.

tHE EAST-DWELLERS: BURDEN BEARERS

[GENESIS 49:14-15, NUMBERS 2:1-9, DEUTERONOMY 33:18-19]

The initial chapters of the Bible, in the book of Genesis feature a recurring mention of the eastward placement. The garden was planted eastward in Eden (Genesis 2:8) and when God drove out the man from the garden after sin, He, at the same time placed cherubim at the east of the garden to guard the way to the tree of life. We also see several chapters later at the Tower of Babel that when men came up with this idea of building themselves a city against the will of God, they had embarked on a journey further away from the east. In contrast, in the very next chapter after Abraham encountered God, he made a movement to the mountain east of Bethel. Continuing on from Genesis to Numbers 2, we see God giving Moses the pattern according to which the children of Israel were to camp around the tabernacle of meeting. Three tribes were placed on the east-side; Judah, Zebulun and Issachar. In this instance we will explore Issachar, who was blessed by Jacob in Genesis 49 saying “Issachar is a strong donkey, lying down between two burdens.” We will learn from the tribe of Issachar - the burden bearers.

When the patriarch Jacob blessed Issachar, he described him as a strong donkey - an animal that is known for work and carrying weight. Jacob also spoke of how Issachar as a donkey would bow his shoulder - a picture of accepting responsibility. Furthermore, Jacob prophesied of a point where Issachar would become a band of slaves. Jacob considered it a blessing that Issachar would mature to become a band of slaves because when we mature in God, although we receive freedom from sin, we become slaves of Christ and the assignment he bestows upon us. This is why Paul proudly referred to himself as a slave of Christ. We learn that as east-dwellers, men of Issachar take pride in bearing burdens and bringing themselves into subjection to propagate the cause of God.

Moses came along after Jacob and in blessing the children of Israel, he further illuminated the role of the children of Issachar. “Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out and Issachar in your tents” he declared in Deuteronomy 33. The imagery of Issachar rejoicing in his tents brings to mind the Feast of Tabernacles. It was during the time of that feast that Jesus called upon all those who are thirsty to come unto Him and drink of Him. There were three features of this feast that relate to the tribe of Issachar:

  1. The drawing and pouring of water - This was symbolic of our drawing water from the wells of salvation according to Isaiah 12:3. As east-dwellers who bear-burdens like the sons of Issachar, we must understand that we do not draw wisdom from the wells of this world but rather from the wells of salvation in Christ Jesus.
  2. The illumination of the temple - During the feast, they would illuminate the temple and the brightness of the temple would light up every nearby city. It was during this feast that Jesus declared that he was the light of this world. The men of Issachar act as the cities set on the hill and shine in the midst of darkness.
  3. The building of booths - This is a reminder that we are dwelling in earthly tabernacles. The of Issachar are keenly aware that the real man is not this vessel of clay. They are men of the Spirit who are illuminated by the word of God.

It is on the foundation of these three insights that the men of Issachar have the stamina and strength to be burden bearers. Yes, God said in Matthew 11:28, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” but He did not say we will be free of burdens. Indeed, the same God also exhorts not only to bear our own loads but also to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2-5). Learn from the east-dwellers. Accept the blessing that Jacob and Moses conferred on the children of Issachar; the blessing to be burden-bearers. If you want to see the victorious right hand of God in your life, embrace burdens. Rise up to the challenge and shoulder the responsibility of bearing burdens for responsibility is the seed of greatness!

Amen.

the kingdom that transcends environment

[ISAIAH 11:1-10, DANIEL 6:18-21]

As he did in many other places in his book, Isaiah the royal Prophet begins to prophesy about the coming of the Messiah in Chapter 11; “There shall come forth a Rod from Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots.” As we proceed to read, the vision of the prophet extends, goes past the first coming of the Messiah, past even our current day and time and into the second coming of the Messiah and the Millennial Reign of the Lord. Order, peace and tranquility shall be the order of the day in that reign to such an extent that “the wolf shall dwell with the lamb… the nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den.” The good news is that as a believer you don’t have to defer these promises. Yea, we don’t have to wait until the entire world experiences peace (that is not part of the promises of God in accordance to his Word) but we can pray for his Kingdom to come. It is possible today by faith to experience the realities of that age that is to come. The believer’s portion is to become an oasis of peace even in the midst of the most threatening of environments.

In these end-times, it is important to understand that our prayers cannot change the prophetic agenda of heaven as written in scriptures. The Lord already said that in these times there will be wars and rumours of wars, nation will rise against nation and lawlessness shall abound. Does it mean we should not pray then? No because although our prayers cannot change this agenda, they can however secure divine exemptions for us. Believers do not have to conform to the prevailing conditions of the earth. Everyone at your workplace doesn’t have to be born-again first before the purpose of God concerning you can prosper. God can release a unique favour on you that despite their wickedness, you will still be divinely provided for. Such was the case of Jeremiah; that when Nebuchadnezzer came to destroy Jerusalem and the prevailing condition for the children of Israel was that of chaos and desolation, he was prospering according to the word of the Lord. This is the reality we see playing out in Isaiah 11; that the lion, wolf and cobras will not have to change their predatory nature but still there shall be no hurt or destruction.

Granted, every believer will enjoy peace in the Millennial Reign but it will take those with defiant faith to enjoy it in these turbulent end-times. Don’t allow the enemy to cause you to live a restricted life because of the fear that is currently prevalent in our world. Lift up your voice unto God and pray for his Kingdom to come. When the kingdom comes, you may not be able to stop your children from going out but your prayer will protect them and exempt them from every orchestration of the enemy! Again, the promises of Isaiah 11 do not have to be deferred. Daniel experienced it in the lion’s den as thematically captured in Daniel 6:18-21. He testified that God sent angels to shut the mouth of the lions. It may be true that some of our workplaces have become like lions’ dens but by prayer we can petition the Lord to shut the mouth of the lions.

Ultimately, the prophetic exhortation for the days and times we are living in is: Don’t measure your peace based on the peace of the land but rather measure it according to your relationship with the Prince of Peace Himself. God will give you the Spirit and power to excel in stressful environments. Where are the believers who will choose not to wait for the full consummation of the Kingdom to experience the realities of the age to come? They are the ones whose lives will be a prophetic statement that we are indeed seeds of the life that is to come.

Amen.

CONSCIOUSNESS OF DIVINE FLOW (THE BREAKING OF BREAD)

[2 KINGS 4:36-44, 6:1-32, 7:1-2]

God, through the excellency of His wisdom, has made spiritual resources available that if His people can tap into it by faith, they can be sustained and even thrive in times of extreme famine. The incredible miracles we see Elisha performing in 2 Kings Chapter 4-7, happened in a period of time akin to a pandemic; a famine in which physical and economic resources were scarce. Still, through communion and the breaking of bread, the prophet was able to access the economy of God to feed people across four levels; his immediate disciples (sons of the prophets), the immediate community, the enemies of Israel and ultimately the entire nation. This was a demonstration of divine flow that counteracts the spirit of poverty even in the worst of economic times but as we will discover, there is a posture we must maintain in God to ensure that this flow is not disrupted.

The first story in which we encounter people being fed from Elisha’s ministry is detailed in 2 Kings 4 after the resurrection of the Shunamite woman’s son. The prophet had commanded his servant to boil stew for the sons of the prophets, before one of them went out to gather some wild gourds from a wild vine which he then added to the stew. This addition to the stew contaminated the meal as we read that the sons of the prophet could not eat it and cried out to the man of God, “there is death in the pot.” There is an important question to be asked here which is “Why did the sons of the prophet end up with death in a meal that was being cooked under the direction of the prophet?” Indeed, when God feeds us it is supposed to minister life not death but there is an detrimental attitude we can have that can introduce corruption even at the place of communion with God.

The first problem that the sons of the prophet had is that they were sitting on chairs at the Lord’s table rather than on stools. It was the wrong posture. Sitting on chairs meant that they were in an elevated place that was contrary to the place of humility and a teachable spirit that the stool represents. It was from this opinionated position that one of them went out to gather gourds from a wild vine that eventually introduced death to the pot. Why the wild vine? Jesus said He alone is the true vine so going to a wild vine was representative of consulting a source of knowledge and life that is alien and outside of Him. When we come to the Lord’s table we must be careful of adding “wild’ ideas; the ways of the world to the mix. It will corrupt the feeding process and disrupt the divine flow. We must sit on stools and not on chairs. We see that the way for the prophet to correct the situation was for flour to be added to the pot which is representative of the authentic Word of God. If corruption and death is at work in any aspect of your life, there is a prophetic word you can get from God that will begin the process of revitalisation and renewal.

The second miracle of feeding we encounter was the feeding of 100 men with the first-fruits of just 20 loaves of barley. Here we see the same principle of multiplication that Jesus later took further in the New Testament by feeding the 5000 with 2 fishes and 5 loaves. To tap into the divine flow, we must learn not to limit God regardless of what may seem like the scarcity of the resources in the natural. At times, all that is required for the feeding of a community is just a seed. By being conscious of God’s principle of multiplication, it is possible to see business expansion even in the midst of a pandemic. We notice that in that time of famine, Elisha expanded beyond just feeding friends and family to feeding his enemies. The entire army of Syria which had come to capture the prophet was fed instead. God has the resources not just to look after his own in difficult times, but to empower as many as would believe to become a form of redemption even to their enemies.

In Chapter 7, Elisha was ultimately able to break the bread of God to the entire nation as he famously declared, ‘‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.’ The divine flow extends to a level where we are able to feed nations. Through it, Joseph was able to feed Egypt and that provision is still available today. Pray that you will possess the humility, faith and obedient heart that will give you access into this economy of God.

Amen.

consciousness of divine flow

consciousness of divine flow (the bed, table, stool and lampstand)

[2 KINGS 4:8-37, 8:1-6]

The story of the Shunamite woman’s encounter with Elisha detailed in 2 Kings 4 is one of the most remarkable testimonies to come out of the great prophet’s ministry. The Shunamite woman was a woman of influence and affluence who seemed to lack nothing except that which only God could provide - a child of her own. However through recognising the holy man of God Elisha and providing a notable service to him, she eventually had that need met. Indeed, much has been made about the Shunamite woman providing a room for the prophet to stay in but through the revelation of the Spirit of God we discover that even the contents of the room themselves were significant and had prophetic meaning. In the room she placed a bed, a table, a stool and a lampstand. Although she lived in the Old Testament, through these four items the woman was able to typify the walk of the New Testament believer. The bed for the rest of God, the table for communion, the stool for a teachable spirit and the lampstand to represent the believer’s responsibility to be the light of the world.

When you meditate upon this story, you realise that the actions of the Shunamite woman were inspired by an uncommon level of insight into the ways of God. Shunam was a land that Joshua had allocated to the tribe of Issachar so this particular woman belonged to the children of Issachar who according to 1 Chronicles 12:32 had understanding of the times and knew what Israel ought to do. The items she furnished the room she gave to Elisha with were inspired by the wisdom of God and everything that eventually happened to, for, with and by this woman was directly traceable to these four things. Beyond her own life, the bed, table, stool and lampstand have symbolism that into reach the New Testament and have implications on how we ought to approach our walk of faith as believers. Let’s consider each of them in turn;

  1. The BED - symbolic of the rest of God: The name Elisha means the Lord is my salvation so in meeting the man of God, the woman realised that she had encountered the representative of the salvation of God. Although she was wealthy, she realised that she had encountered the God who could deliver her from the misery and lack that her wealth, connections and every advantage in the flesh could not. So she could rest in God. It is so important for us as believers to adopt the posture of rest in God because God will never fulfil all our heart’s desires at once. So we must rest in Him, knowing that God will entrust us with what others need and at the same time give what we don’t have to someone else so that we are aware of our interdependence on one another. Whether you are trusting God for the fruit of the womb, you have lost your job - whatever the situation may be - you must fight to make rest in God your default posture in Him. Your unshakeable belief must be that before God gives you anything else Jesus Himself is more than enough. Fight to enter into rest knowing that there is an assurance in God that when you take care of His business, He is surely faithful enough to take care of yours!
  2. The table - symbolic of communion: After the rest of God, we come to the Lord’s table - communion and it is important that that communion be first with God before it is with people. Commune with God first. If you rush to share with people before first drinking from the Lord the result will be offence and frustration because you will surely meet disappointments along the way. It is communion of God that provides us with a perspective that makes forgiveness and  long-suffering possible. Brokenness is learnt at the table of communion because it’s only what is broken that can be shared with others. The Lord’s table beckons us to be broken so that our lives can shared as a blessing to others.
  3. The stool - symbolic of God’s teaching and the humility that secures it: The most dangerous thing in life is to live your life according to the teachings of men. Authentic teachings come from God while men are merely the instruments used to convey the teaching. The stool symbolises teaching because according to the Hebrew mindset, teaching is given in the posture of sitting and reclining. On our end as disciples of God, it symbolises the humility that is required to receive the teaching of God. Humility and a teachable spirit are requirements for admission in the university of God. We can learn this from Paul; although he had reached the pinnacles of intellectual, religious and societal stature, he laid all aside for the excellency of knowing Christ Jesus our Lord.
  4. The Lampstand - symbolic of the believer being the light of the world: This is what our world is need of - believers who have embraced the responsibility Christ gave us to be the light of the world. The lampstand symbolises our ability to let the light of God which shines out of us and his life which oozes out of us to be our testimony before the world. When all was said and done, the Shunamite woman had testimonies that could attest to the fact that of a truth, she had encountered the miracle working God of Israel. By the revelation of the lampstand, we understand that we overcome the enemy not only by the blood of the Lamb but also by the testimony of our witness.

The progression of these items is significant; ultimately our goal is to let our light shine before the world until the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our God but the lampstand must be preceeded by our taking rest in Him, communing with Him, being taught by Him so that we can operate according to his ways and with the right Spirit. May your Christian experience be furnished with the bed, table, tool and the lampstand!

Amen.

consciousness of divine flow (How the enemy disrupts the sharing flow)

[ACTS 4:32, JOHN 10:10]

In Acts 4:32-35, we see a fulfilment of the John 17 prayer of Jesus that the disciples should be one, even as He and the Father were one. In that atmosphere of unity, as the believers were of “one heart and one soul’, the sharing mode was activated. The Scripture lets us know that none of them considered any of the things he possessed to be his own but rather, they had all things in common. We notice then that the divine flow isn't just about the vertical plane or just looking up to God to the neglect of our neighbour; it continues to the horizontal, among the saints - brother to brother, sister to sister. Having said this, the enemy is also aware of this operation of the divine flow; that God channels blessings and prayer answers to us by moving the hearts of men. As his manner is, according to John 10:10 he comes to steal this flow from us and he does so through 4 main ways which we must consciously guard ourselves against; deception, division, diversion and discouragement.

It is important to understand that although it is true that the gifts and callings of God are without repentance (Romans 11:29), the enemy can still take advantage of the ignorance of the custodian and exploit those gifts for his own glorification and agenda. He operates this way because unlike God, he is also just a creature and therefore he cannot create gifts. James 1:17 declares emphatically that every good and perfect gift is from above; from God, the Father of Lights so the enemy says, “If I cannot create or give the gifts, I will hijack the use of the gift for my own glorification and against the purposes of God.” When this happens to us, we have effectively been stolen from the agenda of God and the divine flow is interrupted. We must ensure that the gifts God has given us to participate in sharing as part of community are not hijacked by looking out for these four strategies of the enemy;

  1. Deception - In this context, the enemy deceives in two main ways. The first is through unfounded promises which ultimately lead to frustration and disappointment in God when they are unfulfilled because God is only obliged to fulfil the word he has given us. If the enemy can deceive you into believing unfounded promises like a life without problems or challenges then he can steal you from the divine flow. The second way he deceives is through redefinitions which subtly shift us from God’s perception of things.
  2. Division - We notice from our theme scripture in Acts 4:32 that it was in an atmosphere of unity; of one heart and one soul’ that they placed what they had at the disposal of their community. Let us consciously guard against the disunity, divisions and discord sown by the enemy.
  3. Diversion - The enemy also steals through the subtle method of diverting us from purpose. It can even come in the form of ‘enlightenment’ that seems good but is ultimately a reproach before God because what He is most concerned about is you using what He has given you for original intent he had in mind when He gave it.
  4. Discouragement - The enemy also steals us through the spirit of discouragement. He does so by making us more conscious of the personal failings, challenges and even disappointments that we inevitably face as we share our gifts with others to benefit our communities. Yes, we may encounter ingratitude or lack of reciprocity along the way but we must look to the grace of God to enable us to consciously look beyond this and not fall for the scheme of the enemy called discouragement designed to steal us from the divine flow.

Paul said we are not ignorant of the devices of the enemy and we pray that by this illumination, we will rise above these strategies of the enemy and remain conscious of the divine flow. Keep your sharing mode on! Amen.

keep walking

[MATTHEW 14:22-33]

It is apparent that our world is going through challenging and testing times; an unexpected and uncertain period where many are grasping for answers. The question that believer and unbeliever alike is asking is how do we conduct ourselves in threatening times like this? How do we walk through these times seeing that circumstances seem to be against us? As befits us as believes we look to the eternal Word of God for answers knowing that our God has no blind-spots in his vision and nothing occurs to Him; He knows all things and is ever-prepared for all eventualities including we currently find ourselves in. In Matthew 14 we come across an instance akin to this,  in which a contrary wind had risen against the advancement and progress of the disciples. Jesus had promised them a destiny by giving them an instruction that they should go to the other side but lo and behold, as their boat was now in the middle of the sea it began to be tossed to and fro by the waves because of the contrary wind. As that was going on, Jesus came to them walking on the sea and they assumed it was a ghost. The Lord reassured them that it was He to which Peter replied and said, “Lord if it you, command me to come to you on the water.” At the command of the Lord, “Come”, Peter began to walk on water but amazingly the command of the Lord had not dealt with the tempestuous sea nor the boisterous wind; the contrary wind was still there. Indeed, it was only when Peter paid more attention to the contrary wind than the command of the Lord that he became afraid and began to sink. The Lord’s expectation was that Peter should continue to walk according to His commandment despite the contrary wind. God has the same expectation of you in this season; you must choose to follow the divine mandate and keep walking no matter what comes your way.

If we are to keep walking in the midst of the prevailing challenges and difficulties that have arisen there are four principles that we must practice:

  1. Have faith in God and what he is able to do through you - Peter expressed faith in God and what he was able to do through Him when he said, "Lord if it you command me to come". Remember Peter was a trained fisherman who had experience with the sea but he realised that he was in a situation that belief in himself and his own experience and expertise was not enough. We are faced with such a situation now - our own experiences and human capabilities may not be enough and so we must learn to believe in God and what he is able to do through us! Paul emphasised the need for this to the church that was located at the forefront of civilisation and philosophical advancement in his day; the church at Corinth. He writes in 1 Corinthians 2:5 “that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”  How are we going to overcome the coronavirus and the countless other issues that have risen because of it? Lets have faith in the power of God and in His ability to use humans to solve seemingly unsolvable issues. If we dare to have faith in our God, what we call problems will be transformed to opportunities and without a shadow of doubt we will be able rise up in the power, might and ingenuity that only God can inspire. Understand that anytime you confess your faith in God that confession will have to be tested so times like this become opportunities for one’s faith to be proven strong.  Don’t allow your faith to give way, continue to have faith in God.
  2. Choose to share the love of God - God has a mandate for us as believers that stands firm even in times of difficulties and hardships and it is to share the love of God with our families, communities and our world. God does not speak outside of love so anytime He speaks to us, he imparts to us his nature of love. The word of God that has taken residence in us has built up a reservoir of love and now is the time to share that love. Surrounded by a world system that operates on the principle of “winner takes all” and that “as long as I am okay I don’t care about anybody else” we must rise up as believers and take every opportunity to show the benevolent love of God to others irrespective of our differences. Refuse to propagate the idea that this situation is a judgement from God for Jesus did not come to condemn the world but that through Him the world might be saved. Not only that, but he has also entrusted us with the ministry of reconciliation so we must adopt a language that communicates the love of God; a language that tells people that we may be sinking as a world like Peter but let us call out to Jesus to save us. In these turbulent times, lets be intentional about displaying a sense of love and duty towards one another.
  3. Be bold! - In the middle of the uncertainty of this period be bold for God has not given us the spirit of fear but of boldness and a sound mind. Unless you are bold, you will stop walking. We must be courageous, particularly those who are on the front-line of our fight against the virus; the nurses and other health professionals. Remember that the Immortal God has chosen to live in your mortal flesh so you can go to work with all boldness and confidence being assured that you may be treating people who are affected but you yourself will not be affected. Don’t be afraid, pray and commit your life into His capable hands and then go courageously knowing that God is living through you and partnering with you to bring his healing virtue to the sick. The glory of God will overshadow you as you reach out to save the hurting world.
  4. Show Compassion - Compassion is kindness that is expressed through the power of God. It is easier to show courage when your own life is in danger and so you have no choice but to confront the enemy but compassion shines forth when your own life is not in danger but you choose to take action because there are others in need. We see in scripture that our Lord was always moved by compassion to solve the problems of others. So in these difficult times in which we may be tempted to look out only for our own interest, let us not throw a blind eye to to what is going on around us. When we can feel for others, walk in their shoes and allow compassion to propel us to loving action, God will will reward us and do so much more for us.

It is easy enough to believe in advancement and progress when the winds of life are facilitating our movement but what about when the wind is contrary as it is has been for our world in this first quarter of 2020? The word of God says we must keep walking! Don't allow the boisterous wind to inspire fear in you; keep walking! Have faith in God and what he can do through you, show the love of God to others, be bold and show compassion.

Amen.
